1. Diagnostic Tool
1.1 USING FMD CBT DIAGNOSTIC TOOL

1. Kindly EXIT from the FMD CBT application

2. Launch the “FMDCBTDiagnosticTool.exe”. Start the Application by
double clicking on the FMDCBTDiagnosticTool icon, as shown in the
figure below.

3. On completion of the above step, a window opens as shown in Fig below,

Enter user id and password used during CBT training and click the
[Diagnose] button.

4. After successful login into diagnostic tool, the program will scan through the
earlier steps executed by the trainee. It will diagnose issues encountered, if
any, and attempt to resolve the issue if possible.

A report will be generated by the tool and it is suggested that the trainee
sends this report to FURNO CBT Support for further analysis. Kindly ensure
that the machine on which the FMD CBT Diagnostic tool is being run is
connected to the internet for this report to be emailed. Kindly click on the
“Send Report” button

1.2 RE-LOGIN INTO FMD CBT APPLICATION

Run CBT application and re-login with your credentials.

The trainee should now be able to move to the next step of the CBT training application and
proceed to completion of the training and test.
Validation and certification window should open on clicking on the “Validation and Certification”
link on the sub-menu under “Examination”, provided the user has achieved the requisite
minimum marks during the Multiple Choice Test.

Now the user can enter the License key to download the results (etd) file and email it to FMT
support team.

1.3 FAQ
Question 1. When the user run the diagnostic tool, does he/she have to keep
CBT application open?

The user should exit from the CBT application before running this diagnostic tool.

Question 2. After run the diagnostic tool and enter the ID and Pass, how the
symptom would be solved? Will the etd. file automatically issued on
somewhere on desktop?

The ETD file will not be generated automatically. The user needs to re-long in to the FMD
CBT application and complete the necessary pending steps.

Question 3. When the user run the tool and enter ID and Pass, the below
“Report” box appears. Does it appear only when the diagnostic tool does not
work? Or, it always appears even when the diagnostic tool successfully
settles the matter?

“Report” box appears every time after tool completes the diagnosis.

Question 4. Can the user run the diagnostic tool without internet connection?
We think internet connection is required to send the report to ARI simulation.

Diagnostic tool can work without internet, but it is recommended that an internet connection is
enabled so that the user can “Send Report”.
