Printing Inks
MONARCH 570 is a high structure general purpose TONE
powdered pigment black suitable for aqueous newspaper Blue Brown
printing inks and a broad field of liquid ink applications. It
provides high color intensity with excellent dispersibility TINTING
in water based flexographic inks. STRENGTH Low High
Other Applications
This pigment black is used also in Adhesives and
Sealants, Friction applications, such as brake and clutch MONARCH MONARCH
linings, and in Dispersion applications. 280 570

The dispersibility of MONARCH 570 pigment black EASE OF

depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It is DISPERSION Easy Hard
a medium structure carbon black and is easier to

disperse compared to products with lower structure in
the regular color range.
MONARCH 570 is a fluffy pigment black with a typical
bulk density of 235 kg/m3.
