116-4 lnspection Requests.

The person doing the


work authorized by a permit shall notify the authlrity
having jurisdiction that such work is ready for
inspection. The request for inspection must Ue fiteO
not less than one (1) week before the inspection date.

The.person requesting inspections shall be required


by this code to provide access to and means for
inspection of such work.

116.5 Other Authorized lnspections. The authority


having jurisdiction shall be allowed to make othei
Inspections of mechanical work to ascertain
compliance with the provisions of this code and other
laws that are enforced by the code enforcement
agency.

116.6 Re-inspections. Any requested incomplete


inspection or when the required corrections have not
been made, the authority having jurisdiction shall be
allowed to assess a re-inspection fee.,

Re-inspection fees shall not be required the first time


a job is rejected or for failure to comply with the
-
requirements of this code for the first time.

The re-inspection fee shall be paid after completing a


form, furnished for this purpose. The authority havi-ng
jurisdiction shall adopt a fee schedule for thiJ
purpose.

No additional inspection of the work shall be


performed untilthe required fees have been paid.

11 7.0 Gonnection Approvat.

117.1 Energy Connectiqns. No person or entity shall


be allowed to make any connections of any source of
energy or fuel to ; any mechanical iystem or
equipment for which a permit is required and until
approved by the authority having jurisdiction.

117.2 .Temporary Connections. A temporary


connection of the mechanical equipment to the
source of energy or fuel for the purpose of testing the
equipment or for use under a temporary certificaie of
occupancy shall be allowed by the authority having
jurisdiction.
