    (BUILDING SURVEYING PRACTICE II)
    (Grouping assignment- Group of 4 members)

    A remedial action is intended to correct something that is wrong or to improve a


    bad situation: to take urgent/immediate remedial action. One of the importance of
    estimated of repair costs is useful for a budget plan that needs to be prepared by
    owner/maintenance management in the future.

    TASKS:

    You are required to prepare the estimated repairing cost for defects found in your
    Assignment 2. Please select the defects and provide the repair cost for the elements
    below:

    a) Building services (sanitary/ water supply/ electrical/ mechanical/ etc.)


    b) Building Fabrics and Components
    c) External (compound area/ perimeter drain/ apron/ etc.)

    Each group are required to find 10 (ten) defects. Please add the defects sheet for
    the defect selected, defects description and remedies for each remedial defect
    cost.

    Kindly submit your report in Pdf Format on Week 15.


    The total marks of this assignment are 30%.
