TASK 2 PART 2

In a group of 3 to 4, Choose any construction development (either from internet or

actual project). Produce a poster presentation for the chosen project on one of the
following topics:

1. Feasibility study of the project.

2. Cost control during design stage.

3. Cost control during construction stage.

This task carries 15% to the total of final marks.

Coursework Objectives

• To understand the process and procedures of feasibility study and cost

control and planning in a construction development.
• To investigate factors to be considered at a feasibility stage or cost
control at design or construction stage of a development.
• To evaluate the current practices at a feasibility stage or cost control at
design or construction stage of a development.

Coursework Brief

• The coursework aims to provide a study at the inception stage or design

and construction stage of a development process and the important of
these actions towards a liability of the project.
• It provides the understanding of the theory and the practice at the early
stage of a development.
• It also provides the student with a thorough understanding of the theory
and the analysis of the important factors to be taken at the inception,
design, and construction stage of the project.
