Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel- Coco Chanel- (1883-1971), She was a

French fashion designer and innovator in the field of fashion, founder of
the "Chanel" brand, a company dedicated to the production of clothing,
bags, shoes, perfumes and accessories.

In 1910, she went to live with English industrialist Arthur Capel, who
helped her open her first store, "Chanel Modes," a hat shop that soon
expanded into a fashion branch.

By the 1920s, Chanel was already an influential designer, designing

elegant garments with flowing fabrics and garments inspired by men's
wardrobes; the skirt and jacket are fashion references. In 1922, he
created Chanel No. 5 perfume.

During World War II, with business failing, Coco Chanel worked as a
nurse and got involved with a Nazi officer and ended up in exile in
Switzerland. In 1954 he returned to Paris and resumed his haute
couture business. He presented the cardigan, the black dress and the
pearls, which became a hallmark of the Chanel style. Subsequently, she
began to dress great personalities, including the first American lady,
Jackie Kennedy, and the Chanel brand began to appear in the main
fashion magazines.

He died in Paris on January 10 of 1971 at the Hotel Ritz Paris, where

he lived for a long time.
