The community health problem that scored the highest is “Poor Environment Sanitation related
to Improper waste disposal” in which scored 8.59 this is because 63.2% of the population of
Barangay Iboy have responded that they are burning as their management of waste disposal,
though this is the highest health problem of the said Barangay it is still preventable and partially
modifiable if people will be instructed and follow what will be instructed on the matter of proper
waste disposal.

Problem #2: Flu, Cough and Colds as a Leading Cause of Morbidity

The majority of the total leading cause of morbidity in Barangay Iboy are flu, cough and
colds, posing a health status problem in the said Barangay. Inadequate living space, compact
houses, weather as a way of waste disposal.

Problem #3: Lack of Medical Knowledge

44.7% of the total number of the people with morbidity in Barangay Iboy responded that
they did not seek any medical attention. Furthermore, 16.14% have the age of 56 and above in
barangay Iboy and it is one of the factors that lead to lack of medical knowledge because of
willingness to participate and learn. 42.11% of the household in Barangay Iboy choose herbal
medicine as their primary care of the sick of family member but they have insufficient
knowledge about the possible side effects of herbal medicine and in how it contraindicated to
different herbal medicine.
