And the Pain Will Be Burried Beneath the Stars

or
Through the Stars to the Thorns

1
It could be that Cekni was defamed as he was arrested one morning without comitting a
crime.

But is it really like that? Aren't we enjoying the life's delights the most precisely when being
most vigorously torn apart by passion? The one who succees in perceiving beauty can not
disappear … Beauty is horror's own smile. On one occassion, tears of grief, inseparable
companions of beauty, appeared to Cekni.

Days, my days, branched out like leaves … the moon is on a roof where telegraph lines are
squealing in minor key … starry carriages are trembling in open windows, strange oh strange
is my pale face tonight, deformed from vagrancy and pain!

2
Melancholy starts out with a smile and ends up with the sound of a broken bell in the soul.
Acompannied by tears of grief, all sorts of disrupting thoughts went through Cekni's head. No
more having to cry, no more feeling weariness … This is joy of joys, merriment with no
tomorrow, dream without waking up. Maybe there are more beautful worlds out there, on the
other side of the clouds …

3
A piercing voice broke in Cekni's little head. Wandering, so solitary and few in number, about
the labirynths of his almighty ideas, he was forced to face the Moon, with its surface turned
into a mirror so that it could always and everywhere attend the trial … the trial with no
witnesses or lawyers.

Cekni the Judge: Let's not burden our eyes with dreams that lead to hopelessness, comrade
Ceknicario, or Cekni by pet name … Your shameful behaviour will demand a good excuse,
since we don't tolerate weakness. All the irreproachable cosmic orders are jeopardised. Even
the momentary existences' reserve existence is endangered!!!

4
You, Ceknicarija, Cekni, are not allowed to speak. What's our bounden duty? To investigate
the truth and make it universally known? The truth that would shame our indestructible order
as well as me, the seemingly almighty Ceza Prin, or Cekni by pet name?

Oh yeah? Who are we, comrade? Some damned philosophers or what?

We fabricate truths! We don't recognize them, we produce them! It's creative, not
investigatory work.

5
We are artists, my Cekni! Andi f I was lucky enough to see a tiniest spark of comprehenson in
that attitude of your little nose, I'd say: poets! Yes, those who walk per aspera ad astra!

And I don't care that down there at the bottom of the aorta, a poet is fighting a bandit
throughout a long autumn night!

Don't even contemplate, Mister Cekni … There's always a possibility to make a deal, although
we know it's safer in chains than being free … But you and me, comrade, must be free, free in
the cage of our duties and complete, all-embracing integrality of our truth.

6
You'll have to track down these tears of grief by yourself. But beware, Comrade Ceknicarija –
always keep in on your mind the existence of a logical need for enemies. Nowadays, it's
impossible to organize some sort of a strong and healthy order.

Take care, Comrade Cekni, how you approach them. Don't let them think about the never-
ending imprisonment, as eternity takes away hope. Absence of hope muddies the tears od
grief. What you get instead of clay is unbreakable mineral.

7
Strive to break down their souls. When a soul is broken, the body gives up sincerely and
unreservedly. A falling body doesn't burden the soul. On the contrary, it binds it to resistence
and revenge.

How easy is it to be strong, how famous it is to be alone, to be the Emperor and yet so young
… and walk the roads and trample the stars in mud, with me shining up above in the sky …

Tears with inferiority complex

After the tears of grief were succesfully judged, Cekni broke down the investigatory mirror on
Moon's surface. By doing it, he achieved anew the reunion, the victory over The Mightiest,
and more importantly over the weakness in himself. With this act, the judgement is over and
Cekni is free.

Looking from the outside, it may sometimes seem that everything was forgotten long ago, that
the court records got lost, and that the liberation verdict is final. But the insiders know that it's
not true. Not one court record gets lost, and nothing is ever forgotten.
