Conclusions:
● I really think that society is becoming more and more dependent on technological
devices, so that very rarely do we know how to do something where these tools do not
intervene.

● Despite the fact that we become more dependent on technology, we must admit that
they are elements that facilitate many tasks. The cell phone in general, is a tool that
allows you to take photos, communicate with family members, take notes, and allows
you to access an endless number of applications that are very useful such as:
calculators, alarms, instrument tuners, reading tools, etc.

Reflection:
Based on my previous conclusions, I think that dependence on cell phones and electronic devices
is a problem because people do not want to admit that we are addicted to the consumer exposure
offered by these devices, and I say consumer, because the general use that electronic devices
have are for consumption and not so much to produce with them (clearly it is possible to produce
with them); For example: social networks are offered as a space that allows you to interact with
other users; which is natural in human beings, but network interaction becomes more
«impersonal» when we only use it to post things and consume content from other profiles, where
it goes from being an interaction platform to one of "interactive entertainment". Another case
would be YouTube, which is offered as an entertainment platform and can be very good at
disseminating certain types of information; however, it loses a lot of that when it tries to compete
with other platforms like Instagram and Tik Tok, becoming an «instant video» platform where
people are taught to get bored with the lack of «easy content». In my personal case, I don't use a
cell phone, so I always notice that my family, colleagues and even strangers around me cannot
communicate without having to evoke a «trending» topic that is within reach of their devices or
the simple fact that they don't avoid taking out your cell phone either to put on music or to
imitate outlandish dances; I have seen people who even carry it in their hand in case anything
comes up. That is why I found it interesting that in the first audio they mentioned «no cell
phones at the table», it is actually a rule that has changed over generations such as «no shoulders
at the table». Apparently, humanity has always tried to maintain certain customs that allow him
to be in contact with his close ones, but I think that devices such as cell phones are not the
triggers for this addiction. In one sentence, I would say that: technological devices are like
having the power of the sun in the palm of my hand, because the possibilities they offer are
amazing and I am aware of it even though I don't own one. I believe that the problem resides in
the fact that people are not aware of what they consume; and therefore, they don't know how to
moderate how many applications they have on their cell phones and how they use them;
moreover, if we think about it carefully, this is a problem that has existed since the time of
Socrates when he mentioned that people sometimes buy and think they need things that they
don't really need.
