When I first started attending classes in person, I didn't know what to expect from the
upcoming year. Thankfully, time has shown that I was incorrect. Every once in a while, I would
face difficulties, get hurt, and be put down. I fell down, but I got back up, and now I'm stronger
for it. The more I fall, the more determined I become to get back up again, stronger than before.

I still have a long way to go before the end of the school year. My life, however, has been
nothing but a series of ups and downs, losses and victories. However, I am fortunate to have a
group of friends who not only encourage me socially, but also help me succeed intellectually.
Some people may think that studying is the only requirement for success in college. I think it
also helps to be around positive people who will encourage and support you.

During the first half of my teaching career, I was exposed to both classroom training and
administrative training. Prof. Maria Socorro Diaz, my cooperating teacher, has been wonderful to
work with in every way imaginable. She does a lot more than just act as my supplementary
educator. She strives to be an example of a stellar educator. I was completely unprepared for how
well she manages her classroom and instructs her students. Many people can learn from her level
of professionalism. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have her as my cooperating. To be a
teacher even a fraction as effective as she is is a goal of mine.
