o Existing Stage Road Safety Audit of Urban Roads for Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal
Corporation

Responsible to perform existing stage road safety audit of 100km road network for 14
different connecting arterial roads within the city. Safety assessment of 25 major junction
locations was also done to improve the overall safety of the locations. Accident data collected
from the Traffic Department of the city was analysed to identify and rectify the hotspot
locations within the city, and strategies were suggested to improve the overall safety of the
corridor.

o Pre-opening Stage Road Safety Audit for MINI CONSTRUCTION, Ranchi (2020)

shoulder of NH 848”, from KM 16+000 to KM 34+000, KM 39+000 to 57/000 & KM 62/000 to
KM 65/600 (Approx. 39.600 KM) in Nashik, Maharashtra.

o Pre-opening Stage Road Safety Audit for Global Traffic Solutions, Pune (2019)

Responsible for preparing a Pre-opening Stage Road Safety Audit Report with Global Traffic
Solutions for “Strengthening & widening/ Reconstruction of Chattarpur-Japla Road (MDR-127)
on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode” for State Highways Authority of
Jharkhand, Ranchi. The two-lane highway section with paved shoulder of MDR-127 between
KM 00+000 to KM 32+466 was inspected in Chhatarpur- Japla, Ranchi.

PROFESSIONAL TRAFFIC ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE:

o Responsible for preparing Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (WTMP) for
construction of Coastal Road (Package-IV) of Municipal Corporation of Greater
Mumbai. The Traffic Management Plan includes the capacity analysis of the project
corridors with estimation of Level of Service of the Project Roadway Corridors, and the
impact assessment of the construction activity on the existing traffic.
o Responsible for reviewing traffic signal timing and phasing including BRTS and
pedestrians phasing. Task included review of SCATS & C-DAC phasing & preparation of
revised signal phasing plans at Hubli Dharwad BRTS corridor junctions for The WORLD
BANK.
o Responsible for Traffic Impact Assessment of proposed traffic diversion at A. B. Holkar
Chowk, New Mumbai for Mumbai Metro Line 3, (Package-1). The project includes
preparation of Traffic Management Plan along with the reconnaissance in the field
vicinity to collect vehicular and pedestrian’s movement.
o Responsible for preparing Traffic Simulation videos by PTV VISSIM for Public
Transport Bus Network at JSW-Steel Plant, Ballari, Karnataka. The project includes
design of routes, estimating the required number of buses for the overall bus transit
system for all employees of the plant, along with scheduling of the buses over the
various routes of the townships and towns around the steel plant.
o Responsible to prepare Traffic Signal Warrant analysis for 9 junctions, with the trip
generation and distribution data review analysis for various zones at Edmondson’s
Avenue Austral, New South Wales, Australia.
o Responsible to perform traffic impact assessments and report for a residential
township project in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
 o Responsible to review, update and prepare parking plans for ten locations in Pimpri
Chinchwad Municipal corporation (PCMC), as a part of PCMC smart city project. Tasks
included reviewing the overall parking plan for the simulation check of cars and heavy
vehicles swept path analysis using AUTOTURN Pro software.
o Responsible to suggest strategies for WORLD BANK to improve the metro operations
with integrated corridor management for the multiple metro lines of DHAKA MASS
TRANSIT COMPANY LIMITED (DMTCL). Tasks included overview of the overall mass
transit corridor, strategizing non-motorized transport management, preparing
pedestrian zones to eliminate conflicts between pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
o Responsible for traffic cycle timing optimization and design of traffic signal phases
with coordinated signals including pedestrian and BRTS phasing of 38 junctions of
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Pune. The project includes the Traffic Signal
quantities estimation and the junction improvement plans. The analysis of traffic
signal phasing is being made by PTV VISTRO.
o Responsible for junction geometry improvement, to analyse the turning movement
traffic count, redesign and optimized the traffic signal, capacity analysis and preparing
3D traffic simulation video using PTV VISSIM & PTV VISTRO for Indira Nagar junction
based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
