Objects that have a specific shape, that come things that don't always come in a specific unit
in defined units, that you can count easily. that you can count. (Or that you make into a
unit yourself, like bread.)
Plastic, paper and metal = they are materials, that
don't come in a specific shape. (Humans make them
into a shape, like a book, or a fork.)

A computer, a box, a magazine… these are objects with a pre-defined


shape that you can count easily!
Which words
are countable,
and which are
uncountable?
FOR EXAMPLE…

I have some cheese in the fridge.


There are a lot of people on the street.

in positive sentences. It sounds very formal.

For example : I have many friends at UCSP!

In a positive sentence, we usually use "a lot of".

I have a lot of friends at UCSP!

Oh no, there is a lot of traffic in AQP today.
