ACTION TAKEN BY KIPL AND WIL BASED ON THE COMPLAINT

Lock Ring

Rim Base

Bead Seat Band

Based on the complaint, KIPL and WIL found that the centralisation of the Bead
Seat Band during tire assembly is important to achieve uniform compression on O-
Ring

WIL and KIPL Jointly carried out inspection on parts in India and found
improvements on the Lock Ring to work under all conditions

Failed O-Ring from Harita Panca Utama is collected by KIPL/WIL for failure analysis

Also KIPL and WIL will study further to revalidate the findings
