My Endless Gems

When talking about precious, the first thing trigger my mind is gems, let me start by talking
about my gems that are kept closed to my heart and soul. Frist me, I was born on the 16th of
May 2010.I was unique since birth, during the end of my mother’s third trimester of
pregnancy, I was diagnosed as a ‘soldier’s shoulder’ baby. It means my shoulders are wider
than my head. I came to this world by a caesarean operation to avoid any risks of getting
stuck or breaking off my collarbone. I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to live for
12 years now.

Second, my superhero, the breadwinner of my family. As a field engineer in offshore,

we have very limited time together. Luckily, technology keeps us near, where we are
connected online through video calls and Whatsapp. When he is at home, we will spend
quality time together. I know he does his best to sacrifice for our comfort.

Third, my one and only, that’s my mom. She quitted her job as a lecturer to take care
of us. She is a supermom who loves gardening and cooking, her cooking is very exquisite as
she uses fresh and organic ingredients. She’s my greatest influencer that enhances positive
vibes in me.

My eldest brother is very special; he is a high-functional autism or known as Asperger

Syndrome since he was 5 years old. He is a creative person who loves creating things,
drawing and robot coding. He once participated in a robotics competition and got a spirit
award. Because of him, I understand the perspective of a special needs person, who wants to
be understood, accepted and loved. My younger siblings consist of 2 boys. Apart of being
mischievous, they are sweet, cheerful and active little boys and I learnt to be patient and
sharing from them.

My family is my endless gems that I would never exchange with even

diamonds. I love them to the moon and back. May Allah keeps our family bond stronger and
shower our life with his endless blessings. My family, my endless precious gems.
