Project: Inferential Statistics

Use any statistical test/approach to determine how the population parameter(s) (Eg. : 𝜇𝜇, 𝜎𝜎 or 𝜎𝜎 2 ) can be
inferred from the sample statistic(s) (Eg: 𝑥𝑥̅ , 𝑠𝑠 or 𝑠𝑠 2 ) found/collected. Your project is to estimate the
unknown population parameter(s) and/or conduct the hypothesis tests for the population parameter(s) of
interest.

Project Content:
Your project must include the following.
1. An introductory paragraph that describes why this analysis needs to be carried out. State clearly the
hypothesis/objective of this project. State the parameter(s) of interest clearly.
2. Briefly explain where/how the data are collected/obtained. Include the complete data in the project.
3. Identify the statistical test(s)/approach(es) that will be used.
4. State the assumption(s) of the test(s) considered.
5. Provide the output(s) of the statistical test(s) by using a software and interpret the output.
6. A one-paragraph reflective essay that describes your experience when working on this project.
7. Provide at least 3 references.
