POWER SUPPLY
This unit is designed to operate from household mains supply. The 9V type (1x006p) battery is used for clock
back up only.

USING HOUSE CURRENT

Before use, check that the rated voltage of your unit matches your local voltage.

PREPARATION
Plug the AC Power cord into an AC outlet. The clock display shows flashing.This is a normal condition that
warns the user the time shown is incorrect. Flashing clock display also appears after a power interruption if
the backup battery is exhausted or not installed.

CAUTION
To prevent electrical shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.
AC Outlet

LISTEN TO THE RADIO AC Plug

1. Slide the Function Switch (5) to "ON" position.
2. Slide the Band Selector (15) to FM or AM position.
3. Adjust the Volume Control (14) for a desired listening level and select your favourite station with the
Tuning control (16).
4. To turn off the radio, slide the Function Switch (5) to "OFF" position.

TO SET THE TIME

1. Press and hold the Time set button (6).
2. Press the Hour set button (10) to advance the hour display.
3. Press the Minute set button (11) to advance the minute display until the correct time appears on the
time display.
4. Release the Time set button (6). The correct timeGBis1 shown on display

TO SET THE ALARM

1. Press and hold the Alarm set button (7) while repeating step 2 and 3 described under " TO SET THE
TIME" to set the desired wake-up time.
2. To check the correct alarm time, press the Alarm set button (7).

USING THE RADIO / BUZZER ALARM

1. Set the alarm as shown in "TO SET THE ALARM".
2. Follow the procedure in "LISTEN TO THE RADIO" to tune the desired station.
3. Set the Volume Control (14) to your required listening level.
4. Slide the Function Switch (5) to "AUTO" position. The radio will turn on to wake you up at the preset
time.
5. To wake to the buzzer instead of the radio , set the alarm as shown in "TO SET THE ALARM" .Slide the
Function Switch (5) to "ALARM" position. The buzzer will turn on to wake you up at the preset time.
6 To turn off the radio or buzzer, slide the Function Switch (5) to "OFF" position or press the Alarm set
button (7).

SNOOZE FUNCTION
When the radio or buzzer sounds, press the Snooze button (8) to switch off the alarm. Approximately 9 minutes
later, the alarm will switch on again. This snooze cycle will be activated up to 5 times within an hour period.
To stop the snooze cycle, slide the Function switch (5) to "OFF" position or press Alarm set button (9).

SLEEP FUNCTION
1. Set the Function Switch (5) to "ALARM", "AUTO" or "OFF" position.
2. Press the Sleep button (9). The clock display will show 59 minutes. The radio turns on and off automatically
after 59 minutes.
3. To reduce the automatic shut off time, hold down the Sleep button (9) and press the Minute set button (11)
to adjust to the desired sleep time.
4. To set the automatic play for up to1 hour and 59 minutes, press and hold the Sleep button (9) and press
the Hour set button (10) once. The clock will read 1 hour 59 minutes.
5. To turn the radio off prior to the preset sleep time, simply press the Snooze button (8).

ANTENNA
The FM radio has a flexible wire antenna on the back of the unit, uncoil the wire and extend to its full length
for best reception.

parts inside the unit . Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the
user of "dangerous voltage" inside the unit.

The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of important instructions
accompanying the product.

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock , do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

THE APPARATUS SHALL NOT BE EXPOSED TO DRIPPING OR SPLASHING.

ENSURE A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 5 CM AROUND THE APPARATUS FOR SUFFICIENT VENTILATION.

ENSURE THAT THE VENTILATION IS NOT IMPEDED BY COVERING THE VENTILATION OPENINGS WITH ITEMS,

USE THE APPARATUS ONLY IN MODERATE CLIMATES (NOT IN TROPICAL CLIMATES).

DO NOT EXPOSE THE APPARATUS TO DRIPPING OR SPLASHING.

DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS FILLED WITH LIQUIDS, SUCH AS VASES, ON THE APPARATUS.

In case of misfunction due to electrostatic discharge, the apparatus has to be reset by disconnecting it from
mains supply.

Where to place the item :

Today’s furniture is coated with a wide variety of lacquers and synthetic-coatings that are treated with an
extensive range of cleaning products. Therefore, the possibility that some of these substances contain
components that react adversely to the rubber feet of the item and soften them, cannot be completely
excluded. The rubber feet of the appliance can cause discoloring to furniture surfaces. If necessary, place
the appliance on a non-slide surface.

ALIMENTACIÓN
Esta unidad está diseñada para funcionar con una tensión de AC 110V / 220V ~ 60Hz .
La pila tipo 9V (1x006P) sirve únicamente para la alimentación auxiliar del reloj.
OPERACTIÓN A CORRIENTE:
- CONECTAR LA CLAVIJA CORRESPONDIENTE DE UN EXTREMO DEL CABLE, A LA
ENTRADA DE CORRIENTE DEL APARATO, Y EL OTRO LADO DEL CABLE A SU
ENCHUFE DE LA RED. ASEGURARSE DE QUE EL VOLTAJE SEA COMPATIBLE AC Outlet
CON EL DEL APARATO.
AC Plug
- RETIRAR LA TAPA DEL COMPARTIMENTO DE PILAS.

Preparacion
Enchufe el cable a la toma AC. En el reloj se ve titileo. Esta es una situación normal que avisa al usuario que
muestra el reloj es incorrecta. Tambien se presenta un titileo en el reloj despues de un corte de energía o
cuando la pila está gastada o no se ha instalado..

ESCUCHA DE LA RADIO
1. Coloque el Selector de función (5) en la posición "ON".
2. Coloque el Selector de banda (15) en posición FM o AM.
3. Ajuste el Control de volumen (14) al nivel de volumen deseado y sintonice su emisora favorita con el Control
de sintonización (16).
4. Para desconectar la radio, coloque el Selector de función (5) en la posición "OFF".

AJUSTE DE LA HORA
1. Mantenga presionado el Botón de ajuste del reloj (6).
2. Pulse el Botón de ajuste de las horas (10) para avanzar las horas en el visualizador.
3. Pulse el Botón de ajuste de los minutos (11) para avanzar los minutos hasta que aparezca la hora correcta
en el visualizador.
4. Suelte el Botón de ajuste del reloj (6). La hora correcta aparece en el visualizador.

AJUSTE DE LA ALARMA
1. Mantenga presionado el Botón de ajuste de la alarma (7) y repita los pasos 2 y 3 de "PUESTA EN HORA"
para fijar la hora en que desea despertarse.
2. Para comprobar si la hora del despertador es correcta, pulse el Botón de ajuste de la alarma (7).

USO DE LA ALARMA EN MODOS RADIO / ZUMBADOR

1. Ajuste la alarma como se indicó previamente.
2. Sintonice la emisora deseada (siga las instrucciones previas)
3. Ajuste el control de volumen al nivel deseado.
4. Deslice el selector de función (5) a posición AUTO. La radio se encenderá cuando el reloj llegue a la hora
preestablecida.
5. Si desea que la alarma se active en modo de ZUMBADOR en lugar de radio. Repita el paso 1 y luego ajuste
el selector de función ALARM. para que cuando el reloj llegue a la hora preestablecida, se active el
zumbador.
6. Para desactivar la alarma, ajuste el selector de función en posición OFF, o presione el botón ALARM SET (7)

FUNCIÓN DORMITAR ("SNOOZE")

Cuando suenen la radio o el zumbador, pulse el Botón dormitar (8) para apagar el despertador. Aproximadamente
9 minutos después, se activará de nuevo la alarma. Para interrumpir el ciclo dormitar, coloque el Selector de
función (5) en la posición "OFF" o pulse el Botón de ajuste de la alarma (9).

FUNCIÓN DORMIR ("SLEEP")

1. Ponga el Selector de función (5) en la posición "ALARM", "AUTO" u "OFF".
2. Pulse el Botón dormir (9). El visualizador del reloj mostrará 59 minutos. La radio se pondrá en marcha
y se apagará automáticamente a los 59 minutos.
3. Para reducir el tiempo de apagado automático, mantenga pulsado el Botón dormir (9) y pulse el Botón de
ajuste de los minutos (11) hasta ajustar el tiempo para dormir deseado.
4. Para alargar el funcionamiento automático hasta 1 hora y 59 minutos, mantenga presionado el Botón
dormir (9) y pulse el Botón de ajuste de las horas (10) una vez. El reloj indicará 1 hora 59 minutos.
5. Para apagar la radio antes de que pase el tiempo para dormir preseleccionado, simplemente pulse el
Botón dormitar (8).

ANTENA
La radio FM tiene un cable de antena flexible en la parte trasera de la unidad. Despliegue el cable y extiéndalo
al máximo para una mejor recepción.

piezas útiles para el usuario. Para cualquier revisión, póngase en contacto con el un técnico cualificado.

El símbolo del rayo con la punta en forma de flecha dentro del triángulo es una señal de aviso
que alerta al usuario de la existencia de “voltaje peligroso” en el interior del aparato.

El signo de exclamación dentro del triángulo es una señal de aviso que alerta al usuario de la
existencia de instrucciones importantes en la documentación que acompaña al producto.

ADVERTENCIA
Para reducir el riesgo de incendios o descargas eléctricas, no exponga este aparato ni a la lluvia ni a la
humedad.

ATENCIÓN
NO QUEME LAS PILAS!
NO EXPONGA EN NINGÚN CASO ESTE APARATO A SALPICADURAS O A UN POSIBLE GOTEO.

COMPRUEBE QUE DEJA UNA DISTANCIA MÍNIMA DE UNOS 5 CM ALREDEDOR DEL APARATO PAPAASEGURAR
LA SUFICIENTE VENTILACIÓN DEL MISMO.

COMPRUEBE QUE NO HAYA ELEMENTOS QUE IMPIDAN LA VENTILACIÓN AL CUBRIR LOS ORIFICIOS,
COMO PERIÓDICOS, MANTELES, CORTINAS, ETC.

NO COLOQUE NADA CON LLAMAS, COMO VELAS ENCENDIDAS, ENCIMA DEL APARATO.

PRESTE ATENCIÓN A LAS NORMAS MEDIOAMBIENTALES VIGENTES EN CUANTO A LA DISPOSICIÓN DE

PILAS USADAS.

UTILICE EL APARATO SÓLO CON TEMPERATURAS MODERADAS (NO EN CLIMAS TROPICALES)

NO EXPONGA EL APARATO A GOTERAS NI SALPICADURAS.

NO COLOQUE OBJETOS QUE CONTENGAN LÍQUIDOS, COMO JARRONES, ENCIMA DEL APARATO.

En caso de malfuncionamiento debido a descarga electrostática, se tendrá que reiniciar el aparato mediante la
desconexión del mismo de la toma de corriente.

Dónde colocar el objeto:

Los muebles actuales están revestidos de una amplia variedad de lacados y coberturas sintéticas que se
tratan con una extensa variedad de productos de limpieza. Por lo tanto, no puede descartarse por completo la
posibilidad de que algunas de dichas sustancias contengan componentes que reaccionen de forma adversa
con los soportes de goma del artículo y los reblandezcan. Los soportes de goma del aparato pueden decolorar
las superficies de los muebles. Si fuese necesario, coloque el dispositivo sobre una superficie no deslizante.
