1. AJNA CHAKRA — Third eye chakra, sixth chakra

2. ANAHATA CHAKRA — Heart chakra, fourth chakra
3. ANANDAMAYA KOSHA — Bliss sheath or bliss body
4. ANNAMAYA KOSHA — Food sheath or physical body
5. APANA VAYU — Governs downward movement of prana; associated with elimination
6. ATMAN — Soul
7. CHAKRA — Spinning centers of life force energy in the subtle body
8. IDA NADI — Energy channel beginning and ending on the left side of sushumna; lunar,
feminine, cooling
9. KARANA SHARIRA — Seed or causal body, formed from the anandamaya kosha (bliss
body)
10. KOSHA — Sheath, layer or body
11. MANIPURA CHAKRA — Navel or solar plexus chakra, third chakra
12. MANOMAYA KOSHA — Mental sheath or mental and emotional body
13. MULADHARA CHAKRA — Root chakra, first chakra
14. NADI — A line that carries energy; said to channel prana to every cell of the body, keeping
us alive
