    NOK wants you to lie to patient about diagnosis, alleges patient going to kill self. How urgent is it to
    reveal diagnosis?

    Is this due to hctz or are there other contributing factors?

    condition.”
    Patient’s well being why is he not here. Is wife actually related? Why does wife not feel he can take
    news?

    Confidentiality
    Therapeutic privilege – withhold information if it will cause significant harm to patient. e.g. mental
    state of patient going to kill himself if you reveal diagnosis. Must be in patient’s best interest

    What do you think would happen if he found out?

    If boyfriend is super old – is it coercion, grooming? Commercial sex? Inquire re: relationship
    Less than 14 statutory rape, less than 16 penetration of minor, commercial sex below 18 is a crime
