Technology

CAMUS Technology is an advanced version of SBT

technology. It incorporates a bioconversion process
where fundamental reactions of nature namely
respiration, photosynthesis, mineral weathering take
place in a media housing micro and macro organisms
which bring about the desired purification. CAMUS
Technology is an oxygen supplying high reaction rate
biological engine and so the process can treat all types
of water - domestic, municipal and industrial. CAMUS
Technology uses the ecology of soil media and
biological reactions within a constructed bioreactor to treat wastewater. This is a giant
technological leap forward from current technologies which rely on aquatic ecology for
treatment. This technological advance allows us to offer energy efficient treatment solutions and
deliver superior water quality

The sewage from the gravity comes to Fine Screen(SC) where coarse Materials are
removed.After initial fine screening at SC, raw water is passed through a tube settler (TS)(with
flocculation and coagulation as necessary) wherein the large suspended solids (greater than
100microns) are settled out The clarified sewage from TS is collected in Equalization Tank
(EQT) which is pumped on first CAMUS-SBT®️ Bio Mound (BM1) where it percolates through a
specially designed bio media. The percolation of BM1 is collected in Collection Tank 1 (CT1)
which is passed to Second Bioreactor & through percolation water is collected in Collection Tank
2 (CT2). Water collected in CT2 is the final treated water which is good for discharge and non
potable reuse.
