(1) Aim: To study and analyze the basic logic gates and universal gates.
(2) Apparatus Used: 1. DSO, Breadboard, DC Power Supply.

(6) Conclusions:
(i) I have learnt about the actual meaning of input signal represented as 1,0.
(ii) In fabricating logic gates different combinations are used, we've used transistor-
transistor logic family.
(iii) NAND and NOR gates are universal because all the gates can be designed by
these two.
(iv) Learnt Boolean expression.
(v) There are 4 gates in each op-amp (containing 14 pins) except in IC 7404 for not
gate .
(7) Precautions:
(i) One should not connect +5V DC in TTL family.
(ii) One should not forget to connect every op-amp with +5V ( with 14th
terminal) and ground(with 7th terminal).
