General Updates

➔ In the phase of getting confirmations from companies and fixing placement week slots.
➔ Work started on collecting CVs. These CVs will first be reviewed by a faculty committee, and
then by the director before sending to recruiters
➔ Sessions on CV building and soft skills planned with Alumni Association, but the session will
only go on provided there is healthy participation from the batch.
➔ Brochure data had been sent last week, should be getting the first draft next week.
➔ Working on a list of instructions during placement season, will update by end of this month.
Tentative Placement Schedule
➔ Placement week starts 16th January onwards.
➔ Companies may do their pre-processes from around a week or two before. This
would includes aptitude or case study tests, GDs, etc.
➔ Planning for around 30 companies for the placement week. This number may
increase as we come closer to placement week
➔ Placement week schedule will be released sometime in December.
➔ Pre-placement talks for most companies will be in December.
➔ Some companies may hire before placement week.

Director Sir’s Role

➔ The director has a committee for placements, and conducts meetings every Tuesday.
➔ Approaching top 100 Indian companies (based on NSE listings) on his end.
➔ We will only get to know of these companies after they have been confirmed.
➔ These companies may also come before the placement week.
➔ His major approach is towards companies with good salary and great career path.
➔ Will arrange for expert sessions as well with regards to placements.
➔ Will also review the CVs of each and every student.
➔ Director Sir’s Message: “The batch has to work hard and be calm, everyone will be placed,
but the hard work needs to be there”
