Traditional or Progressive: What is your View of Curriculum?

1. What is your “own” definition of a curriculum? Write down your answer in the

For me curriculum is all about the learning activities that aimed at assisting the
students or learner in achieving the educational system's objective. Curriculum
allows the students to gain knowledge and any information that can help them to
learn.

2. Do you have a traditional view of a curriculum, a progressive view, or both? Explain

your view based on your definition.

It is progressive because we, as teacher and future teachers, must have themes and
objectives that we must design with them, as well as a focus on experiential learning.
And a progressive curriculum is one which what we employ inside the classroom is
based on the interests of the learners.
