13 Non-defining relative clauses


1 My parents, who can be impatient, weren’t angry when I got home late last night.
2 We often have dinner at Fratello’s, which is the best Italian restaurant in town.
3 Cambridge, where my mum lived as a child, is famous for its university.
4 Shakespeare, whose plays are performed all over the world, was born in 1564.
5 I always go to the swimming pool early in the morning, when there are hardly any people.
6 I have to share a room with my sister, which I’m not happy about.

14 Reflexive pronouns
1 I usually make myself a cup of tea in the morning.
2 She’s so selfish. She only thinks of herself.

15 each other
1 Our cat and dog get on really well with each other.

16 Revision
My best friend is called Mark. We live next door to each other, and we’ve known each other
all our lives. Mark is someone that will never let me down. We’re quite different. I love
photography, but Mark doesn’t like social media and he hates seeing himself in photos. Luckily
I’ve got other friends who don’t mind when I photograph them. Mark, whose parents are both
doctors, wants to study medicine at university. He also wants to move to Australia, where his
uncle lives.
