1.Product Appearance

 P：Power indicator, always on when running normally;

 S：Running indicator, keeps steady on during normal operation;

 E：communication indicator , indicating that the snmp card communicates with

the ups normally, and flashing indicates that the communication is

disconnected;

 Ethernet：UTP 10/100M RJ45 Ethernet interface;

 Dial 2：switch upgrade page

 Dial 1：switch serial data output

 RS485：Reserved；

 connecting finger ： Plug into the smart card slot of the UPS; include power

2.Product installation
(Note: The intelligent network monitoring terminal is referred to as "snmp card" in the following description)

 [installation]: Insert the snmp card into the designated slot of the machine;

 [Internet connection]:connect the network interface Ethernet of the snmp card

to the LAN with a straight-through cable.

 It should be noted that the default IP address of the snmp card is 192.168.0.100.

In any case, you need to ensure that the IP is not used in the current network

environment. Otherwise, you will not be able to enter the background web page

configuration.

3.Quickly set the IP address using the UPS-IPGuard Setup Assistant

1) run the software "ConfigAssist.exe"

2) Click the search button to find the UPS-IPGuard. Interface shown in Figure 1

3) After having searched the device successfully, it will list it's IP address, MAC address, subnet
mask, gateway, hardware version, firmware version, et. Select the device you want to set, double-
click it, and interface shown in Figure 2

4) In the "OPTION" dialog box, double-click the column of IP address. Then enter the new IP
address (default address is:192.168.0.100) in the newly pop-up dialog box and confirm it.

5) Subnet mask and gateway can be modified in the same way as step 4. (Other columns of this
page are not suggested to modify)
6) After completing all the modifications, return to the OPTION dialog box which shows all the
modified data, but not effective yet; click "automatic reboot ", enter administration password
(default: admin) and confirm it.
7) After automatic rebooting, the new IP address becomes effective. (If necessary, check it by
researching the IP address.)
3.1 Log in to the snmp card background page
In the web browser, enter the IP address of the snmp card: 192.168.0.100, press Enter, and enter
the user name admin password admin in the pop-up window to enter the monitoring page of the
snmpcard.

3.2 Set SNMP read and write permissions
Click on System Settings and click on SNMP Settings.

The following information can be modified on this page.

Basic settings

System name;System administrator;System installation location

SNMPsettings

Port number：the default is 161.

Permission settings
Authorized IP address ： Set the computer IP address you use to read the snmp

card. As shown in the figure,the IP address of the computer used to read the snmp

card is 172.16.0.221.

Subnet mask:set the snmp Subnet mask,

Community:Generally public

Authority:read、write or read-write。

Click confirm when setup is complete,then the snmp reboot.

TRAP settings

Receive enable:You need to check the box to use the trap function.

Receiver IP address:Set the IP address you use for the trap

Community:Generally public

Click confirm when setup is complete

3.3 Set the snmp card IP address

Click System Settings in the navigation bar and click Network Settings.

On this page, you can modify the following information.

IP address: default 192.168.0.100

Subnet mask: default 255.255.255.0 网关：默认 192.168.0.1。

IP access method ：Default manual setting

The primary and secondary DNS servers default to 0.0.0.0. If you want to use the WeChat function,
please set a valid DNS.

Click confirm when setup is complete,then the snmp reboot.

If you want to use the WeChat function, please set the IP gateway and the DNS that can access
the Internet normally.

4.WeChat function instructions

1. Get the QR code and you need to make sure that the monitoring card can access the Internet
normally;
2. Check Enable WeChat cloud monitoring to display and enable cloud monitoring;
3. Implement device attention binding and data viewing by scanning the QR code below using
WeChat.

Addendum :Simple test method for snmp card

Use the iReason MIB Browser to get the device's snmp data.。Enter the IP address of the device as
shown below: 192.168.0.100, click Advanced: Skip the small menu, enter port: 161,
ReadCommunity: public; WriteCommunity: public; SNMP Version: Select 2, click OK.

Load MIBS
After the loading is complete, use the walk command to get information about all nodes after the
selected cotyledon node, as shown below.
