Stranger Things reminds us of those stories where teenagers

in the 80s were involved in the adventure of a case full of
mystery. It's just that, wrapped in horror ideas from R.L. Stine is
famous for the series Goosebumps.

There are also those who say that this original Netflix series
has an element of mystery in the style of the horror story mogul,
Stephen King. Imagine, these elements are united in a live
action series that airs on the screen. The appearance of Stranger
Things in 2016 was indeed horrendous because it was called a
must-watch series and was lined up to become one of the
favorite series, especially for fans of supernatural-themed films.

In Season 2, the portal to The Upside Down is successfully

closed, causing all of the monsters in Hawkins to die.
Season 3 starts from telling about the lives of our characters at
that time: Eleven - Mike and Max - Lucas, who is now dating,
Dustin just came home from camp and has a girlfriend, Will
who feels isolated because he wants to play but his friends are
busy dating, Steve works at an ice cream shop in a newly built
mall with a girl named Robin, Billy who works as a pool keeper,
Nancy and Jonathan who are interns at a sexist newspaper
company, and Joyce and Hopper who are still working as usual.
Everything looks normal.Until one by one anomalies
happened. Starting from Joyce who realizes that there are no
magnets in the house and work place on the refrigerator, Billy
who acts strange, Dustin who gets a mysterious message from
his radio, and Nancy and Jonathan who tips about strange
mice. Each of them tried to investigate these strange
cases which ended up… ..just watching alone rather than
curious.
(SPOILER)

Stranger Things is literally at the top of my list. So when I

came out of Season 2, I was really excited and really
curious about whether it would still be good or not. Let's
discuss them one by one. Starting from the settings. I
really like films that are set in ancient times. Stranger
Things is one of them. The set-up is still in the 1980s, and
it's still really good to be realized. Starting from fashion,
haircuts, cars too. The technology is still in the 80s, walkie
talkies, telephone, photo printing must be in a special
room. Very good to realize the 80s. From the story, since
this is science fiction, there is a really wide scope of how
the story can develop. But we have already passed the
monster phase (Season 1) and the monsters come back
again (Season 2). And at the end of Season 2 the portal
closes. So in Season 3, I'm curious about what the story
will be like, or what the story will be like or not.

For me, the story is a bit cliché because in Season 3 the portal is
opened again. Same Russia too. I made a lot of questions: what,
how, why? And this doesn't really explain why Russia can be
involved and wants to reopen its portals. And also the story is
divided into many groups. Hopper and Joyce investigate why
magnets don't stick. Steve, Robin and Dustin and Erica
investigate secret Russian radio messages. Nancy and Jonathan
investigate a rat suspected of being Mind Flayer. Eleven and
Max as well as Lucas and Mike and Will investigate other
things. And they didn't actually meet and link everything up
to… the last episode. Which might make it irritating, but I prefer
that a few episodes before the end have connected the story of
the characters so that they hunt the monsters more together.
Speaking of the monsters, the monsters are still disgusting, but
bigger and creepy. For those who are confused about the
monsters in Stranger Things, someone has recap and can read it
here. Even though the monsters are still from Mind Flayer too,
the monsters in this season are more evil, bigger, and can
control the mind. The last episode where they chase and fight
with the monsters is still exciting and makes you excited, which
is a plus point for this Season 3. Moreover, the chase really got
the monster in front of the character's eyes.

Other factors that make Stranger Things good and still want to
watch are the characters, the dynamics of the characters, and the
chemistry between the characters. At least for me they are one
of the strongest reason. And the characters are really good to
watch. The first impression in episode one was: the children are
already big, haha. The feeling of watching Season 2 was rich
when I was young. Now in Season 3, he is already a teenager
and is already in the dating phase. What makes Eleven a bit
confused is that she can adapt that fast. This is the child who
came out of confinement recently. But I can and know many
things.
The trophy for the best character for me goes to their new
character, Robin, and an old character who just got the spotlight:
Erica. This Robin was played by Maya Hawke, who is the son
of actress Uma Thurman and actor Ethan Hawke. But the great
thing is that Maya Hawke is really good at playing Robin so we
don't think that she can get this role because her parents are
already famous. Dan Erica, I love her sharp and sassy style. In
my opinion, the writer of Stranger Things is good at making
characters. And the group dynamics of Steve, Robin,

Dustin, and Erica are the most exciting to be followed compared

to the others.
So overall, in terms of the story, even though it raises a lot of
unanswered questions, it's still fun to watch and the last episode
is okay to make you excited. The actors and characters are really
good, the chemistry is still really good.
