As we all know,giant pandas are lovely animals,they live in

forests,they like eat bamboo and they have no natural enemies,so

they can live to be 20 to 30 years old.I think they have a long life

among animals.

But unfortunately,giant pandas are endangered now.There are

about four reasons for their extinction.First,the blind activities of

human beings,like excessive.Their habitat has been destroyed,

resulting in the shrinking of their habitat area.Second,giant pandas

have a single food source. They only eat bamboo. If bamboo is

destroyed, their survival will be affected.Third,Giant pandas are

highly dependent on their habitat and have poor adaptability to

environmental changes.Fourth,Giant pandas' estrus period is so

short, just 2 or 3 days, that if they don't find a mate during those

days, it's hard to give birth during this breeding season. And giant

pandas have very low reproductive ability.

So people set up nature reserves to protect giant pandas and

research them.like wolong national nature reserve in Sichuan.More

and more people know that there are such lovely animals in the

world.

The significance of giant pandas protection is not only to

protect giant pandas, but also to protect large forests and other
wild animals in the name of protecting giant pandas.

I don`t know what will happen in nature if giant pandas are die

out.But I believe people will must be very sad.
