XOOMSTV USER GUIDE

& TROUBLESHOOTING
TIPS

Service Connections:
Each subscription gives you one account per device. This means that you can watch on only one at a
time, though you will be able to login on several devices.

To get more than one account (connection), you can make extra purchase(s) and this comes at a 30%
discount. This means that the first subscription is full price, but subsequent ones will have 30% off.

Contact support@xoomstv.com or Live chat for the discounted rates.

VPN Usage:
We recommend making use of VPN for your streaming protection regardless of location.

Netherlands, UK, Malta, Spain and Italy residents need to use VPN.

Suitable European countries to switch to can be any other than the ones above or Switzerland, Australia,
Romania, Albania, Finland.

If you have challenges with streaming quality, you can change IP locations on your VPN or switch it off to
see if it works fine without VPN.

Channels Removal/Hiding:
You can contact us to remove countries not needed from your bouquet OR lock these countries right
from your application settings e.g., on IPTV Smarters, go to ‘Settings’ and ‘Parental Control’, set a
password, and enable ‘lock’ for selected countries.

Ensure to refresh Live Channels to have the changes take effect. You can also unlock the channels
anytime you want.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

LOGIN ISSUES:

- Check the username and password and input as given (case sensitive). Differentiate between the letter
O and number 0 as well.

- Xtreme Codes login is preferred if your application supports this.

- Try without VPN active and switch it back on after login, by selecting a location that is not blocking the
service. Alternatively, maybe you need a VPN for a successful login as some ISPs now block IPTV
services.

- Some routers prevent successful access too i.e., Netgear/skynet, so please check on other
devices/wireless connections if this might be the cause.

- Clear cache on the app and login again or re-install the application.

- Double-check to see if your subscription has not expired. Sometimes we sent new login details on
renewal, and these are to be replaced with the old one.

ALL CHANNELS NOT WORKING:

- Ensure your device has enough memory to support the channels upload.

- Do a hard reboot of your device, clear cache on the application and restart everything.
- Run a test to ensure internet delivery is fine and stable.

- Your ISP might now be blocking the service and even if VPN was not needed before, it might be
needed now.

ALL CHANNELS BUFFERING:

- Make sure you have very good internet connection. Connect directly to Ethernet if possible. Also note
that the internet speed test needs to be done inside the streaming app itself regardless of the results
from your connection.

- Use and tweak VPN settings to find what works i.e., switch it off and check the stream quality, change
to different locations, or switch it off and back on.

*Sometimes the VPN quality can also be the issue, or your ISP is throttling the service (NORD VPN might
not be recommended as it tends to cause buffering).

- If you have one paid subscription, be sure to NOT use on more than one device at a time. If you
suspect someone else may be using your account, kindly request a password rest from us.

- Clear cache on the application, switch off the device and wait 5 to 10 minutes then reboot.

- Try out a different app to see if that works fine.

If you are having VPN issue with US / Canada locations, switch to other countries (Albania, Romania,
Switzerland, Finland etc.) and avoid the ones listed above.
