CHALLENGES FROM THE PREVIOUS PROJECT

- Long distance to the scene of crime.


- Lack of transport facilitation or airtime.
- Intimidation by local leaders or community.
- Lack of team work and privacy.
- Police asking for transport to arrest the suspects.
- Lack of follow up by the affected people.
- Lack of proper identification by community and security.

WAYFORWARD OR RECCOMMADATIONS

- Transport means
- Community sensitization or awareness and involvement of security
- We shall ensure co ordination
- Police to be sensitized
- CEHURD should come on ground and have dialogues.
- Provide t.shirts for identification or identity cards.

KIGOROBYA

- Bring someone inspiration to the champions before the end of the trainingbbyCEHURD
- Also engage community people

BUHANIKA
- Lack of transport
- No refreshments
- The trade of people when you are reported and were arrested due to defilement and sex gender
based violence.
- When calling for meetings same men were denying the women to come and attend
- Some men were fearing to report when being tortured by their women
- Some political leaders could hide information
- Police asking for money
- Arrested people when to police few are released then enemity created

RECCOMMANDATIONS

- We continue to sensitize the;


- Political leaders
- Religious leaders
- The community
- Police
- Donors should provide transport
- CEHURD should make follow up on cases of defilement and SGBV cases
- CEHURD toll free should be active
- Exchange visits is needed from defilement cases sub counties
