3.1 Definition:
To carry out bunkering from Bunker Ship to GIMI Onboard 5 DB (Port) MGO Service
Tank as shown in the following arrangement.
Sequence
Keplift will be in between of the Bunker Ship and GIMI so that the bunker hose
(approximately 200 meter) and accessories can be lifted onboard by use of
Keplift and laid upto the Bunker Station at GIMI Onboard Main Deck Port .
Capacity of 5DB Tank is 1600 m3 and plan to bunker 1000 m3 into the tank,
Hence there will be no chance of overflow.
It is to make sure that there will be no hot works at all onboard vessel.
After every hook up & line up has been completed, start the bunker pump at the
tanker to commence bunkering.
The flow rate to be set at minimum at the beginning and check, observe whether
any leak or spillage through out of the bunker line.
Constantly monitor to the activities and communicate among the team for
updated conditions such as tank level, any spillage, weather condition, source of
fire etc.
Once bunkering is completed the preset amount, air blow to be performed into
hose with tanker pump to make sure no residual oil left inside the hose.
Hose will be removed from the tank and lift down to bunker ship after air blow is
completed.
Demobilize the activities and perform specific house keeping.
Location
GOLAR GIMI at Quay-3 and Bunker Ship will be moored at the port alongside of
GIMI
