Overviews:
Hind's company specializes in small, medium, and high precision mechanical and metal
construction; the qualification team works on the latest generation of tools and machines and
ensures quality. The office and company are located at 12, STREET SABRI BOUJEMAA 1st
FLOOR -APT No 6 - 20100 CASABLANCA ANFA; EGALE INDUSTRY Established in 1993 and
working with traditional machines in 2012; it introduced the first CNC. Its main strengths are
turning, milling, water jet, high precision plasma, parallel lathes, and laser cutting.

Meriem's company, DAHMANI INDUSTRIES, is quite like the Eagle industry as it specializes in
plastic also. It is a family business that operates in the following activities: the production,
machining, processing, and marketing of any products, objects, or articles made of plastic. The
company also imports products and resells them in the local market.

Khalid's company is entirely different from us in terms of size because it is a large company and
globally known and works in the field of furniture and the distribution of furniture of all kinds and
import and export, purchase, sale, representation, trading, and brokerage for all furniture and
decorative object. However, the main activity that generates profit for the company is exporting the
clothes they manufacture on order from international firms.

Badr's company, Agresco, which is also tiny and humble, managed to persevere through 10 years
of existence; Agresco has been thoroughly involved in food-related services. Specifically,
bakeries, from bread to all kinds of pastry, the company is proficient in all types of commissions
and demands and walk-in purchases in its established locations.

Oumaima's company, Best eco-car, is a small company working in the field of cars which was set
up in 2016. It rents automobiles for short periods for a fee; it serves people who need a temporary
vehicle. Best eco car is known for its reasonable pricing and good customer service.

d Leading Furniture, Best Eco car, Dahmani industries, and Eagle industry have a hierarchical
structure, and the manager is the decision maker inside these companies. However, Agresco,
where Badr has his internship, only go with a horizontal structure where the handful of people
involved in their respected departments can instantaneously communicate with their superiors
without needing a manager or supervisor.

World-leading furniture and the Best Eco car have one-way communication between managers
and employees. However, for other companies, the communication style is two-way
communication between all employees. Concerning the department, all companies have a
financial department. And depending on their activity Agresco and Dahmani Industries have a
manufacturing department. World-leading furniture has a Marketing department.

Strengths:
Each company is in different sectors and engages in various activities and customer bases; each
has its strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, considering the perseverance of companies through
many economic and social events, such as the most recent pandemic, their stability still varied
from one case to the other. However, a common reoccurring similarity would be the loyal and/or
stable customer base, which can be attributed to the nature of the Moroccan consumer, who has
an oddly clingy preference for their products of choice. Moreover, find it hard, if not downright
impossible, to change products even if they are of the same characteristics, which gives
companies of extended existence on the market with moderate brand awareness. A significant
advantage over newly made start-ups which constitute the biggest strength of all mentioned

companies except their respective competitive benefits such as the location in the case of
Oumaima's company or the lack of fees and tariffs in Khalid's company activity.

Weaknesses:
As companies progress through their business cycles, they are subjected to many challenges and
trials; in case of their inability to overcome these instances of change, these challenges would
become embedded weaknesses that would cripple the company's growth and hinder its progress.
These weaknesses are presented in many forms, as competitors offering similar or identical goods
and/or services or the lack of decision-making due to limited communications and incompatible
organizational structures.

The weakness that can be noticed across the multitude of companies it has been considered
would be the lack of organizational capabilities and timing within these organizations. With
marginal profits comes complacency and a lack of structure which often comes with small
companies that stay small due to this effect.

Although companies try their best to create or reach a competitive advantage, their weaknesses
are often missed or neglected until they fester into long-term hurdles. That is not only crippling to
the company's progress but also poses a challenge to med and rectify, which makes the
companies plagued by them suffer from their effects for prolonged periods, thus limiting their
capabilities and potential.

Challenges:
Every company has its challenges; in our case, the most common challenge is the payment of
taxes. First, for Hind's company, the eagle industry has many challenges; for example, the balance
sheet equity industry needs to be ambitious and willing to risk some of its money. A notable
innovation in content management strategy should be noted here. Standardization and
Personalization Entering a particular market without sufficient knowledge can have severe
consequences for various marketing campaigns. Perhaps that is why equality fails in the
workplace. The changing digital landscape and diverse brands must take the lead in this area and
stay current to ensure the success and inclusion of the company's positions. Lastly, the Consumer
reaction to any brand marketing campaign can reach them and form an emotional connection with
them.

Furthermore, Khalid's company has problems with Competition with big furniture firms, the
Development of online furniture platforms and e-commerce, planning, and market regulations.

Oumaima's company, which is the Best Eco Car company, struggles with Taxes, Complex
Booking & Pricing Management, and Improving Customer Service and Transparency; the used
market is robust, as well as the extra charges, Shuttle transportation availability at the airport. For
Badr's company which is Agresco, they struggle with the demanding and competitive market that
is saturated with similar services offered by multiple other competitors. The lack of future
innovation and ingenuity, the centrism on consumption rather than considering other aspects of
the products, the lack of loyalty in the vast customer base that can switch its opinion with a single
rumour, and lastly, the high hygiene requirement that comes with the food and beverage sector. In
addition, Meriem's company has an Increase cost for the supply chain, new competitors are
entering the market, and the problem with the competitors copying their products and the knock off
the brand with related products and packaging.

Recommendations:
All five businesses may use specific recommendations. The greatest challenge for these five
companies would be their lack of an online presence. It is a necessary milestone to create online
domains that will enable the growth of the company, draw in new clients, boost sales, and
enhance bottom lines, after which is advised that there should be a focus on hiring personnel
following theory Y (Subhi, 2022), which emphasizes attainable, accountable, and motivated
personnel. Towards the last step to expand into added physical and online marketplaces, these
businesses must develop their distribution techniques. They should examine their strengths and
weaknesses and analyse the external environment to enhance their activities. Finally, the most
crucial suggestion for these companies is to adopt the Best Practice theory to drive better
achievements and have a competitive advantage (Morrison, 2022).

The Eagle industry, where hind had an internship, should put more emphasis on the digital sphere
(Attack and State, 2022). It should be less demanding when gathering client information or
watching their online behaviour (Koombea.com. 2022). It makes it easier to distinguish between
distinct areas of interest, see behaviour, and analyse the traits of the various members of the
target group. Without the use of both online and offline sales, several hazards result in time and
money losses, eventually affecting the return on investment.

The Best eco-car, according to Oumaima's business, has many issues that need to be resolved.
Primarily, the company must buy more high-end automobiles to boost revenue, attract more
clients, and increase service variety. Second, it must include contemporary technologies. For
instance, a built application is needed for clients to book their rental automobile online and for a
specific period. It will support it in growing both the market's potential and the demand for its

services. Thirdly, it would be wise for the business to provide its vehicles with luggage carriers for
passengers coming from and going to the airport.

First, it is advised that Agresso, the business where Badr completed his internship, diversify into
other markets with more specialized opportunities. Second, the company must also concentrate
on business-to-business interactions that can help it. Third, it should spend money on expert
audits and suggestions to strengthen its market position. Finally, cost-cutting is necessary for the
company to flourish eventually.

The recommendations for DAHMANI INDUSTRIES are as follows first, promote products on e-
commerce using the search engine optimization strategy, and the goal of this strategy is to put the
product pages among the top pages searched in a search engine by performing keywords in the
URL and blog posts. The second is to develop the machines to increase productivity by
implementing the productivity theory of industrial engineering; this theory is based on building the
machines based on the criteria of the physical production rate; this theory also allows creating the
new creation of new manufacturing machines and systems by discovering regularities and
engineering laws and useful links (usubamatov, 2018). The third is to control processes by
developing a model or an algorithm that supervises the applications of inputs to minimize delays or
errors and to keep a level of control and stability to drive the process to the desired state. Finally,
hiring people for project management positions, these people will ensure that all the various
aspects that have been discussed about the project are going smoothly and that everyone else is
doing what they need to be doing when they need to do it, in addition to the value that they will
add with their vast experience.

The recommendations for WORLD LEADING FURNITURE are as follows first, creating an online
platform and getting involved in e-commerce by targeting the correct audience on the right social
media platform and using social media advertising like Facebook adds YouTube to increase the
sale and making an agreement with shipping firms to deliver the products promptly. The second is
to improve decision-making by limiting choices, setting deadlines, and working on time
management, analytical thinking, and critical thinking. The third is to collect customer feedback to
check their satisfaction level by conducting surveys like sending an email with multiple questions
to the customer and asking them to answer. The last recommendation is setting quantitative goals
like reaching financial results in a specific period of goals, and this can be achieved by setting a
period and building the quantitative plans like a spreadsheet and monitoring and adjusting the
projects during the period (Nat Eliason, 2016).

II. Individual element
1. Meriem Dahmani: st20190875

The group report is an excellent opportunity to improve group work skills. While writing the work
experience report, we first had ambiguities on how to work, especially when everyone has different
companies. The communication between group members was poor; some misinterpreted the task,
made assumptions, and sometimes did not understand what was needed. So, I tried to
communicate separately with the members and clarify things. Secondly, as everyone had their
internship, we could not meet up to collect data. So, I have suggested having a shared online draft
document where every member needs to fill it in with a small overview, strengths, weaknesses,
challenges, and recommendations for his company. The document's idea was prominent as it
streamlined finding similarities and dissimilarities and selecting the most relevant information
between all five companies. Thirdly, we make sure that there is an equal contribution among all
members. Each one wrote 360 words in its part, which contributed to the 1800 required numbers.   

During Eid, all group members were busy with Eid's preparation and celebration. It had
delayed the progress of writing the report. I felt stressed a little bit, especially when the deadline
was near. I believed that, as a group, we had all the necessary skills to make the most qualified
report. However, doing tasks late pushed me to wonder about meeting the exact deadline,
particularly since we still have the presentation not yet prepared. Although I tried to organize and
collaborate with group members, there was also poor communication between them. That is
perhaps due to their high score in introversion. This experience is like what happened in earlier
group assignments. It made me feel somehow uncomfortable. The report process could be better
if everyone had teamwork skills. Hopefully, we finished it few days before the deadline. I have
learned that not only hard skills are needed for a group report but also soft skills. Now I realize that
to build an effective team, we need to set clear goals and communicate clearly towards those
goals to finish the report cohesively and on time. Improving such skills will help me develop my
personal and professional development. It will enhance my abilities inside the workplace and boost
my career success. It will also enable me to solve problems, increase my confidence, and improve
my attitude in my personal life. Academically, effective communication will boost my understanding
of following reports as well as build great teams.

The most crucial factor the business considers when hiring personnel is transferrable skills. It may
set you apart from others (Indeed Career Guide. 2022). My latest professional experience has
allowed me to get and develop various transferrable skills. The first is dependability, where each
project depends on dependable staff members that can be highly responsible, prompt, and
organized to complete projects on schedule. The second skill is initiative. I took the initiative on a
project I worked on with the team, which increased the team's creativity and productivity. I now
know how to use my self-motivation, excitement, and sense of accomplishment to take initiation.
The organization is the third transferable talent. I am a person who keeps things organized in my
personal life. During my internship, where I was trusted by my co-workers and followed all
directions, I was able to enhance it. I have developed my ability to organize my workload, pay
attention to details, and manage my time. Adaptability ranks as the fourth skill. Adaptation skills
help to continue pursuing goals when products, projects and teams change. Recruiters seek out
flexible individuals that can rapidly pick up new techniques and abilities and guarantee that work is
completed on schedule, effectively, and with a pleasant attitude. Throughout this experience, my
tolerance and adaptability have slightly increased.   

Thanks to the transferrable skills I have gained, I can set up aims for the future that are
measurable and honest. The more I mention them in my cover letter, during interviews, and on my
CV, the more employment prospects I will have. The most pertinent transferable abilities
necessary for employment should also be highlighted in my cover letter for future applications to
minimize the chance of becoming unemployed. Gaining these abilities will help both my career
and personal development.

With the new global events calming down and the ripples of the previous pandemic are starting
to die Dow, Companies who had previously layed off multitudes of their employees started to
look for new faces to hire. Riding this wave, I have managed to find myself a position in Best
Eco Car a wonderful team. My experiences and opportunities in this company will be explained
and detailed in the coming body of this report. First of all, to write a report we need to choose a
topic based on the assignment we are required to make, conduct research, write a thesis
statement, to prepare an outline, to revise and edit the report, and lastly to proofread and
check for mistakes (How to Write a Report: A Guide, 2022). To write a critical reflection first we
need to analyze the issue and my role by asking critical questions after that we need to
analyze and develop a clear argument about what I studied and what I learned in this course. If
the report was done only by my work experience it would be different of course, I would talk
about my company and express my work experience and my work environment more but
working with a team is more efficient and easier because you learn from other people's
experience and know about another person’s experience and know about other company's
strengths, weakness, threats, opportunities, and challenges. Working in real word markets did
improve my business academic writing and thinking because in work you meet new people and
you start learning and working in a new environment. We all know that mastering writing skills
it’s not easy and it needs a lot of practice and learning skills. Furthermore, academic writing
serves a tool of communication. In addition, mastering writing skills in the job market can help
us to quickly communicate events, projects, and other important topics (The Importance of
Writing Skills in the Workplace | Tulane School of Professional Advancement, 2022). For my
case, working in real market made me learn new skills, improve my writing skills, it helped me
improve my communication and lastly improve my thinking skills. Working in a company made
me challenge myself and know who I am and what I am able to do. Throughout this internship I
gained some transferrable skills that can help me in future employment or life situations. But
the main transferrable skill that I gained is teamwork. I learned how to work with a group to
achieve a goal, how to respect other people’s opinion, understand and listen to their opinion
regarding my work. Besides that, I improved myself in personal motivation, organization and
time management, as well as research and analytical skills. In this internship I gained new
techniques, I understood the workplace culture, as well as the benefits of taking on feedbacks.

To sum up everything that has been stated so far, working in a new environment helped me
gain a lot of new skills, gain communication skills, as well as team work skills, critical thinking
and writing. Furthermore, Best Eco Car is the company I did the internship in it’s a small
company specialized in renting cars. As I said before, doing an internship helped me know and
learn about the work environment and understand the importance of teamwork. This internship
taught me and gave an idea about work in general. In addition, it helped me put my education
into practice and also develop a leadership skill. This internship gave me the opportunity to
know my strengths and weaknesses, also it will help me get a job way easier due to the fact
that I gained new skills. Furthermore, it made gain more confidence, explore a Carriere path,
and lastly gain an opportunity in the work field. I had some hard times due to the fact that it was
my first time in a company and in a professional work place but with the help of managers and
the team I overcome it.

1. Critical reflection on the report writing process :

Concerning the report writing process, we started discussing ideas and developing aspects on
the report writing before even some of us started their internships ,then when we all had our
jobs we started figuring our the structure of our companies and comparing it in our group
discussions then we started figuring out the strengths, weaknesses, challenges and created a
document to put collected material in so the we can have a smoothly process. First we had the
idea of writing about one company and relying on the chosen member to collect the required
data, then we thought about comparing two companies but after the discussions we reached
conclusion that writing about one or two companies will eliminate the purpose of the other
members internships so we decided to write and compare between all the companies. We
shared the parts in a way that members choose their preference, then when each member had
finish his part we started giving feedback and notes on the work and discussing writing skills to
have the most efficient writing process. For me if the report was only based on my work
experience it would’ve been a less fruitful experience and less efficient writing and
performance, because by writing the report collectively we analyzed the different aspects of
the five companies and we shared our experiences and compared the required materials
between us, and received feedback on my work to have more clarity in writing. The work
experiences improved my writing skills by giving me the ability to right in a professional
manner and use professional words that applies to the business world and tuned out to be
more useful than academic courses for it gives me the ability to develop a deep understanding
of the required elements to talk about because of the real world work experience. The work
experience improved my thinking for it helped me to develop a business mindset and when
and where to apply the business and academic theories that we learned in university and most
important that in business you must focus on the process and the vision instead of earnings.

2. Description of the four main transferable skills gained through the work placement:
There are several skills to be gained in a internship especially if it’s the first one but we are
going to focus on four basic skills. The first skill that I gained in my work placement is self
reliance witch is a skill that university helps you to develop but when you apply it to a
workplace it’s completely different from the academic environment , and it helped me develop
a great sense of self awareness and importance for future employment is that by
demonstrating the ability to take a task and complete it will give the employer the urge to trust

candidates. Second is interpersonal skills witch what I think is the most important skill to be
developed, and it’s essential to understand the art of communication and its not just about
listening and speaking but also about knowing when to step a step back and when to lead and
its importance for future employment is that by demonstrating the ability to communicate with
clarity and democracy and more articulation will give the employer more trust in candidate.
Third is problem solving skill, and it helps by making your way through problems with self
confidence and will put you in leadership positions much faster by making your own initiative
and making you own decisions instead of relying on other experienced employees , and by
developing this skill you got more chance to be hired because no employer wants employees
to ask for help with problems that they face on their daily work instead of making initiatives.
The fourth skill is teamwork because every company in the world is based upon the foundation
of team work and it helps you recognize that the performances of the individuals are only
effective when they are combined together and its much more important for future employment
because a certain question to be asked in a job interview is giving an example of a time that
you worked team and have real work placement experience you are at advantage.

In today's society, coming upon a work opportunity is easier said than done, with the ever so increasing
competition on the labour market and the high criteria proposed by the companies to easily and efficiently
weed out any potential unfit cases for their sector, finding a job, and internship or even an apprenticeship
proved to be no easy feat to achieve, but thanks to great educational teachings and proper perseverance
and efforts eventually, I was able to find a place in a small company that is sharing most of its practices
with the multitude of other small and medium sized companies on the market, AGRESKO has proved to be
a great learning opportunity not only on the professional level but also on a societal and interpersonal
level.  
During my time in this company, I was exposed to various elements of the work environment, from office
politics to how to deal with problematic or demanding customers and managers, due to its vertical
organizational structure being implemented at the same time while having a small number of employees,
communications proved to be a rather complicated issue considering that the managers are often
unavailable and team leaders often ask employees to deliver information directly to said managers instead
of to them, a practice that I found oddly peculiar considering how employees often want to deliver good
news to their managers personally for recognition and credit. 
The company while somewhat new in existence having spent 10 years on the sector still managed to
survive through the pandemic without any layoffs which proves its stability and perseverance but from what
was observed in the time spent within its systems and departments, it is severely lacking in proper
management and control which is why it has stagnated at its current level with no future prospects to be
seen unless a big change takes place. 
Every single employee only tries to do their bare minimum due to lack of motivation and incentive from a
non-existing management, an absence of an HR department begs the question of how are employee
disputes resolved, while the general work culture at its most basic structure is still warm and welcoming, the
lack of professionalism and serious work ethics took some time to get used to. 
As an intern, I was offered no help or guidance besides the first unofficial induction day where I was
introduced to all of the employees and departments, from there I simply did any tasks assigned to me by
any employee which involved me interacting with most if not all departments at some point which was
somewhat exhausting and physically as well as mentally demanding, I enjoyed the challenge and the limit
pushing that I was exposed to which made the experience more on the enjoyable side rather than to be
regarded with contempt. 
At AGRESKO, and while holding an internship position, my assigned tasks were a lot more than
anticipated, my contribution for the company ranged from creating, organizing and categorizing excel charts
to making and mending reports and statements made in French, a task that proved to be the most
challenging for me seeing as how French is somewhat rusty in my memory at the time of these events,

while at the company, I was involved in more than 2 departments but primarily functioned around logistics
department and finance department that only had 2 employees considering how most of the finances are
outsourced to a private contractor, I had the pleasure to hone my financial intelligence and grow
accustomed to taking phone calls, noting down orders and checking through with those orders later as well
as to issue receipts and observe other employees in their job thus learning directly from the source which
proved to be a valuable experience. 
My acquisition throughout the work experience class has certainly helped me throughout this project, from
interview skills that were highly appreciated by the recruiter in charge to how to handle work ethics and
make professional and proper decisions when interacting with other employees, everything that was
learning in class came in handy in the real world which is a fact that is rarely if ever viable considering how
different theory is from practice. 
While I enjoyed my time at AGRESKO, I would not want to be a full-time employee of the company unless I
have the doing the bare minimum mind set which would prove very hard to adopt as such, I would take
everything I learned to heart and add on it in my future endeavours to establish and grow a proper and
stable career.

After an internship at Eagle Industry, I took the opportunity to learn different skills and added many insights
which helped me expand my knowledge, and the fact that I came out of the training gaining additional skills
in customer relationship. (Scout, 2022).

I continued my training at Eagle Industry in Marketing and Sales. It lasted for one month, so I was able to
apply the theoretical knowledge I gained during my training at SIST UK while facing real challenges
working and managing a global team. This experience was very interesting, and I learned many new skills,
such as how to persuade clients. It's about finding the right words to impress the customer and allowing
them to put all possibilities on their side to convert potential buyers. Persuasion is often a false impression
of persuasion to sell. Persuasion is basically the use of tools of persuasion. But it also depends on the
strength of its influence, these are not just heavy arguments. You also need to listen carefully and respond
to objections, as well as validate your expertise in the field in which you work.

In terms of training, it was effective for me because it gave me an indispensable opportunity to discover the
field of research, its characters on screen, and its limitations. This has allowed me to participate tangibly in
challenges through project management, marketing and event management tasks. This training has also
made me understand that administrative tasks are not the most relevant to my profile and tasks directly
related to the client are more attractive to me. I prefer focusing on a position directly related to clients.
I also knew how email marketing works. Email marketing is all about informing and retaining the base of
contacts who are interested in your products or services and making sales by getting them to visit specific
pages related to the company, this guide shows me how to do business directly. With customers by

This experience is an answer to my questions about the safety and environment of companies using
climate change, how to solve problems in commerce and the problems that arise every minute. The
companies that helped me through this internship had a great time and I am happy to help me with that.
The development and transformation of the industry and the changes in the environment made me realize
the importance of financial terms and the definition of the event to be held.

This tutorial will have a positive impact on my personality, because this is my first time to get a job, I have a

real problem, working directly with different types of clients and overall it was a great experience that I will
remember. A chance to share my business ideas by talking about what I know, knowing what I don't know,
and this experience also changed my view of economics, because now I see it clearly.

As for working with the group, they were good. We were working and responsible, but still, I didn't like
working with them very much. One of the students was Maryam who discussed and talked about things,
while the others didn't care and didn't reply to the messages when I sent them to them. It bothers me a lot,
which means a lack of dialogue, but I do what needs to be done and I have discussed it with Maryam.
However, they do what needs to be done.

With all this, I am very happy that I had the opportunity to work together at this stage of my life, in school
work, there are many reasons for the success of this work such as equal distribution of work, it was difficult
to distribute tasks evenly among the members of the group, but with the help of the team, Equality was
strongly present, and this creates a good atmosphere at work. (Why is equality important in a group? - Life
The Freeman Online, 2022) Teamwork enables the development of collective intelligence to confront
differing behaviors and opinions and helps promote skill development in the team. In the case of teamwork,
group thinking is more important, but with this team it was difficult to talk and give many opinions.
