NOTICE
In pursuance to Government of Odisha, Skill Development and Technical Education
Department Letter No. SDTE-HTE-HTE-I-0003-2017/5404/SDTE Dated.31/10/2022, it
is decided to conduct the spot counselling for the admission into 1st year B.Tech
courses for the Academic Year 2022-23, against the non-reported and non-allotted
vacant seats after the internal upgradation with the modalities as below.
1. The following category candidates will be allowed to participate in the spot
admission process of the college against vacant seats.
a) The candidates, who have not participated in earlier rounds of OJEE counselling
/ who have withdrawn from the OJEE counselling process.
b) The candidates who have participated in earlier rounds of OJEE counselling but
not allotted any seat / allotted a seat but not considered further due to any
reason.
c) The candidates who have been issued final allotment letter after final round of
OJEE Counselling but did not report at their allotted institution.
2. Tentative schedule for the spot admission which may be changed depending on
the situation.

3. Important steps of Spot admission
a) Online registration in the portal/link.
b) Counseling fee of ₹ 450/- (Non-Refundable) deposit through online only.
c) Choice filling (Select from vacant seats of PMEC, Berhampur only).
d) Allotment (1st Phase Spot Counselling).
e) Online fee payment for allotted candidates (₹ 20,000/-). The students who will
not deposit the admission fee will be discarded from the admission process).
f) Allotment (2nd Phase Spot Counselling) for any seats remaining vacant after 1st
Phase.
g) Online fee payment for the newly allotted candidates (₹ 20,000/-).
h) Reporting at PMEC, Berhampur.
i) Spot Counselling ends.

www.pmec.ac.in on 15/11/2022. Interested candidates are advised to keep visiting the
website for latest information.
