Job Description
 As a Technical Lead - SFCC, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design
schemas, implement Demandware extensions, design and create product catalog hierarchy, integrate
with content management systems, and search engines, un-locking the business value
of Demandware.
 Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. Provide input into final decisions
regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.
 Independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution.
 Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Demandware.
 Design and Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product
search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics,
reviews, Tax…etc.
 Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and
Demandware implementation.
 Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions and articulate
business need in terms of DW Business Manager Configuration.
 Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation. Collaborate
with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards
 Should lead 5 to 7 members and mentor the team members.
 Code reviews as per DW Standards and should contribute to improvise the standards.
 Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
 Should be able to own end to end project technical delivery of 5 to 7 team projects
 Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self but also for team
 Should be able to design solutions and document specification documents
 Ability to provide Estimates for a given Task / Module.

Required Skills
 Mastery of ecommerce implementation specifically on Demandware platform.
 Certification as SFCC B2C Developer is mandatory.
 Must have experience in SFRA.
 Good understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases and build script
 Deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.
 Understanding of all Administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.
 Knowledge of the concepts of price and inventory and had worked with external vendors to set up
feeds and processes for these on projects.
 Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration.
 Address/shipping/tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS without help.
 Expert of SiteGenesis DOM structure, jQuery event handling and frontend third party integration's.
 Demonstrated consistent excellence in applying this competency across multiple projects and/or
organizations.
