According to Crisis24 Newsletter Dengue fever is endemic to the region, and the

risk of transmission is highest during and immediately following the rainy season, which

typically occurs May-November. Authorities reported roughly 83,155 cases of dengue

fever in the Philippines during 2020, roughly 420,453 cases during 2019, and 216,290

cases in 2018. Mosquitoes may readily transmit viruses, germs, parasites, and other

diseases to people through their bites. However, transmission of dangerous infections

and viruses such as malaria, dengue fever, Zika, and West Nile virus, which can have

debilitating and sometimes fatal consequences, may be a more significant result of

mosquito bites (such as encephalitis, meningitis and microcephaly). This study aimed to

create Mosquitocide from Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Oil from Lemon Peel.

Specifically, it sought to determine the mortality rate of mosquito with the use of the

Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Oil solution in different ratios of 20:80; 50:50; and

80:20, identify if there is a significant difference in the mortality rate of mosquitoes.

It used Complete Randomized Design with one control and three experimental

groups. Findings of the study revealed that Treatment 1 was the most effective

compared to Treatments 2, 3, and Control, through the Standard MosquitocideTest.

Considering the composition of Treatment 1 with 80% Apple Cider Vinegar and 20%

Lemon Oil, it can be noted that Mosquitocide with greater amount of Apple Cider

Vinegar tend to be more effective. The use of F-test One-Way ANOVA at 0.05 level of

significance, showed that the Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Oil solution differ

significantly.
