UPEU Board(Universal power and environment interface unit) UELP Board (Universal E1/T1 Lightning Protection

It is a mandatory board that converts -48V or +24V DC to 12V DC. • Universal E1/T1 surge protection unit.
Functions:- • An optional board for SLPU or BBU.
• Converting -48V or +24V DC to +12V DC that is applicable to the boards. • Each UELP provides surge protection for four E1s/T1s
• Providing two ports with each transmitting one RS485 signal and another two
ports with each transmitting four dry contact signals.
• Providing reverse connection protection for power cable connectors.

UFLP (Universal FE lightning protection)

An optional board for SLPU or BBU3900.

Each UFLP supports 2-way FE surge protection.

Logical Structure of the MRFU

RF system compes RF modules including Radio frequency units(RFUs) &

MRFU Module:
A multi-carrier RF filtering unit.
They include; DRFU, GRFU,MRFU, MRFUd and MRFUe MRFU consists of:
