DESCRIPTION / JUSTIFICATION

The project has a total length of 3.968 km with four (4) lanes roadway, pedestrian lane, bike lane and slope protection both sides that
starts at Brgy. San Policarpo in Daang Maharlika-K0730+469 to pass through Brgy. Aguit-itan with 160.0 lin.m. Special Bridge (4 lanes) and
ends at Brgy. Rawis in Daang Maharlika-K0734+360. The cost of the project is approximately Php 2.05 billion that started funding in 2018
an expected to complete by 2025.

a.) Primary Roads A contiguous length of significant road sections extending linearly without any breaks or forks that
connect major cities (At least around 100,000 population) comprising the main trunk line or the
backbone of the National Road System.
b.) Secondary Roads Directly connects cities to national primary roads, except in metropolitan areas
Directly connects major ports and major ferry terminals to national primary/secondary roads
Directly connects major airports to national primary/secondary roads
Directly connects tourist service centers to national primary/secondary roads
Directly connects cities (not included in the category of major cities)
Directly connects provincial capitals within the same region
Directly connects major national government infrastructure to national primary roads
or other national secondary roads

c.) Tertiary Roads Other existing roads under the DPWH which perform local function

d.) Bypasses Roads that divert through traffic away from the City/Municipality Business Center
(Applicable only for primary and (with affirmative Feasibility study)
