Dr. Dilip. G. Naik, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, has

assumed the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Mangalore Campus with
effect from July 1, 2020. He has over two decades of administrative
experience. Under his leadership, MCODS, Mangalore has been ranked
among the top five private dental colleges in India for the last three years
consecutively. Dr. Naik is credited for the establishment of the Faculty of
Dentistry, Melaka- Manipal Medical College, Malaysia. Dr. Dilip has been
trained in Oral Implantology in Germany. He has over 65 national and
international publications. He has conducted over 12 national and
international multi-centric clinical trials. He is the co-author of the South
East Asian Edition of the globally popular Carranza’s Clinical
Periodontology textbook. The second edition of the book sold over 40,000
copies.

corporate and marketing space. He is an award-winning top management professional who has
been acknowledged for launching, building, scaling, and transforming many market leader
brands in India - across sectors like Retail, FMCG, Edutech, Hospitality, and Healthcare. He has
worked across Australia, India, USA with Boards of topmost companies. He has worked in
companies like Oberoi Group of Hotels, VJT (New York), Wintech, Asahi Glass, Windshield Experts,
Dr. Lal Path Labs, Metropolis, and Private Equity (PE) investee companies. He brings to the table
around 25 years of proven, valuable experience and expertise in the corporate space. Sameer
completed MBA from Australia’s premier business school – Bond University and is a proud

Vinod Kamath, Managing Director for ARSLAN SRS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED,
Bengaluru has diverse industry experiences such as Hospitality / Integrated Security Services /
Integrated Facility Services / Security Consultancy, etc. ARSLAN SRS is globally headquartered in the
United Kingdom and is an Internationally Acclaimed Security Services organization. His core
competencies include Strategic Planning, Service Operations, Business Development, New
Implementations, Financial Budget Planning, Cost Optimization, Resource Planning, Revenue
Generation, Investment Planning & Decision, and many more key managerial roles. Before this
assignment, he was working as Food & Beverage Manager – Constantinou Group of Hotels, Papua
New Guinea, General Manager – Papua New Guinea Alotau International Hotel, Milne Bay Province,

Sumita Kaul, Co-owner, Lakme Salon and Lakme Academy, Pune is a hospitality
professional with 28 years of experience in the gamut of Hospitality, Beauty & Wellness and
Lifestyle retail sales and operations. Her core strengths are Performance Management, Training &
Development and Academics. Sumita started her career with the Taj Group of Hotels - Taj Mahal
Mumbai. Followed by ITC WelcomeHotel Vadodara. She then joined WGSHA and Hotel Fortune Inn
Valley View in a dual role as faculty Front Office and Front Office Manager. After moving into the
beauty and wellness space, she worked with Kaya Skin clinics. 2017 was a turning point where she
took her first steps in entrepreneurship with Lakme Salons. Since then she co-owns a Lakme Salon
and two Lakme Academies. Sumita is the proud alumna of the 6th-course BHM, WGSHA.

Vijay Joseph, General Manager, Casino Hotel, Cochin is a proficient hospitality

professional in the wellness domain. He was the GM of Kalari Rasayana Ayurveda Hospital,
(previously – The Tranquil Palms) for 8 years. He has also worked in Cardamom County,
Thekkady as resort manager, The Serai Bandipur as Manager of Operations, and The Serai in
Chikmagalur as Front Office Manager. In his present role as GM, his primary responsibility is to
bring the hotel back to operations after 4 years of troubled times starting with the Kerala Flood
of 2018. He had to manage the challenges involved in renovations, refurbishments, recruitment,
retention, and handling the union members. Vijay’s core Area of experience includes Hotel
Operations/Ayurveda Clinic Operations/Resort Operations/Front Office Operations /Training.

in leading industries and hotels across the world. Currently, he is Managing and partnering with
Hotels, Restaurants, and franchises on ownership and management contracts and profit, and
revenue sharing in India. He is an effective planner and communicator with excellent culinary and
Managerial skills to manage the day-to-day running of the sections in compliance with the
hotels/Catering outlets' policies and procedures. He has the distinction of getting BARISTA the coffee
house to Gwalior, M.P and also catering to Apollo Hospitals and Ratan Jyoti Hospital in Gwalior. His
rich industry experience includes working in Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC),
Smridu Nigeria Limited (SNL), Eurest Support Services (ESS) - Compass Group, Nigeria, The Taj
Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, Carnival Cruise Lines, Miami, USA, and HRS Group of Hotels, Udaipur.

Mr. Vikramdev Mohapatra, Actor / Writer / Entrepreneur / Educator, Delhi has

over 25 years of cumulative experience in Corporate and Entrepreneurial roles across diverse
industries such as Hospitality, Outsourcing, and Business Consulting. He has been actively involved
in manifold initiatives to stop substance abuse and build an evolving entrepreneurial mindset in
schools and colleges. He is on the brink of publishing his first written effort as a book titled 'The
Mirrors on the Tides’. He is a trained artist and has lent his voice as a voice-over performer in
multiple productions. He has likewise portrayed diverse characters in key theatrical productions
and numerous motion pictures on the silver screens. He is an avid and passionate animal
enthusiast having rescued and homed stray dogs throughout his professional lifespan. Vikram is

Sandip Patnaik, Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) India,

Hyderabad is an industry practitioner with 24 years of versatile experience. He joined JLL in
2006 to head the Corporate Leasing business in Hyderabad and stepped up to lead the state as
Managing Director in 2012, thus, becoming the youngest MD in the Firm and a member of the India
Leadership Council in the same year. Currently he is responsible for the overall establishment,
direction and business growth in the South Indian states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where
JLL is a market leader. He is also an avid Angel investor in start-ups. He is the Charter Member of
TiE and the Board Member of Hyderabad Angels. Additionally, he is an active member of FICCI
Telangana Real Estate Committee and also one of the youngest member of the CEO Club and CII-
CEO Forum. Sandip is the proud alumnus of the 10th course, BHM, WGSHA.

Swati Singh, Head of Education, JOB PLUS, Bengaluru has diverse experience in the
field of hospitality and education. Having worked at the backend operations of GE Capital,
Barclays, and Citigroup, her journey continued as Head - Learning & Development at The Oberoi
Amarvilas, Agra & The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur. During her tenure with the Oberoi Hotels, she
groomed multiple batches of STEP associates into OCLD and OCLD Management Trainees into
Executive levels. She then joined the International Institute of Hotel Management at Kolkata as a
Senior Resource for Training & Placement specializing in coaching & grooming students for better
employability & life skills. Currently at the Job Plus, she is a specialist in strategic collaborations
