    A student conducted a lab activity to assign IP addresses from class B to a client Windows 7 machine and server Windows 2012 machine using VM Workstation. The student assigned IP 172.16.10.100 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 to the server and IP 172.16.10.101 with the same subnet mask to the client. The DNS server was set to the server IP.     Using VM Workstation program, Assign IP address of class B to client (windows 7)
    machine & server and check the changed IP by typing basic command.

    As shown in figure, join the client (Windows 7) to the Server (Windows 2012) by
    assigning the IP address from any class.
