Exercise #2 IP Addressing

Study and test the IP Addressing in the laboratory.

The goal of the experiment is to make user learn the

concept of IP Addressing and let them manually set up
IP address in the given network and check for the
same.

Procedure
1. The aim is to Give IP Addresses to the PCs.
2. To perform the experiment follow the below steps.
3. Using the Simulation: Choose first the Class A then click
submit
4. After that a Network ID would be given and the user has to
enter the 3 IP Addresses according to the Network ID given.
5. Click on evaluate to test whether the IP address given to
PCs make them into Network or not. Then screen capture
the result. .
6. Repeat step 3 to 5 for Class B and Class C
7. All screen capture will be submitted for Class A, Class B
and Class C. All PC1, PC2 & PC3 should be in Network
(GREEN)
