Jim went for a run in the woods on a sunny afternoon, but failed to notice dark clouds approaching. A heavy rainstorm began while he was running alone in the forest. He took shelter under a tree and later an awning to wait out the rain. When the storm ended, Jim found his bike undamaged and rode home carefully in the dark, having had an unexpected adventure.

It was a sunny afternoon when Jim decided to go running in
the woods. It was about 6 pm so it wasn’t too late. He rode his bike to the woods. After Jim left his bike in the arranged bicycle park, he looked to the sky and saw a dark cloud, but didn’t think about a dangerous thing that could actually happen. About twenty minutes he ran without stopping but what he noticed was that there was no one in the park and it was a little too dark outside for a summer day. It was supposed to be a bright sunny day. He didn’t think about it and continued running in the lonely wood. While running, he could see above him a black frightening dark cloud and he heard a light thunder that must’ve been from the town. It actually started raining after the thunder that he heard. First it was a light rain, but then it started raining hard. Jim ran under a tree, but it wasn’t enough. The rain was still sliding through the leaves. While he was looking for the road to his bike, he saw an awning and ran over there to take shelter so that he could wait for the rain to stop. Later, after the storm ended, he went to the bicycle park looking for a way to go back home. Jim was scared that his bike could be damaged, but lucky for him, the bike was still there in a good shape. It rained a lot, so he drove carefully home. It was getting dark when Jim finally got home and all he could think was that he had had the experience of a lifetime. (286 words)
