Jana: Isn't it so hot today? I feel like I'm sweating buckets.
Sofia: Just me or does everybody else feel like passing out from this terrible heat?
Kaye: It feels like the temperature gets worse every day. I can't stand this.
Denise: Yeah, tell me about it. Hey, isn't that Karen though? (Points at Karen who’s
struggling) She looks like she can barely breathe.

*The four walks towards Karen

Denise: Hey, Karen! Over here! Are you good? You look terrible oh my gosh.
Karen: Does it look like I'm feeling good? I can't breathe properly.
Jana: Oh my, hey! Someone, give Karen a water bottle!
Kaye: Is it heatstroke? Heatstroke is pretty scary.
Denise: I know right?

*Edric sees the group of girls and approaches them

Edric: Hello, you girls need help there?

Sofia: Yes! Our friend is overheating, we could really need a couple ice packs or water bottles.
Edric: Ah, very common nowadays, am I right? Anyway, we have a station just located
nearby. See that guy over there? He's one of my peers and we are on standby for possible
heatstroke from this dreaded heat wave. I'll guide you guys there, and tell your friend try not
to move too much.
Sofia: Oh, thank you!

*They all walk towards the station

Eydrian: Hello, how can we help?

Jana: Our friend is overheating and we need something to help lower her body temperature.
Eydrian: Was she out for too long?
Denise: Yeah, I think so.
Ron: Well, we have water bottles to offer. Unfortunately, since the heat is so strong, all the
other ice packs have been taken.
Jana: A water bottle should be enough.
Eydrian: Oh but, we do have air conditioning inside. Let your friend in. We’ll take care of her.
Ralph, come take my place here. I’m bringing in a new patient. (Holding Karen who’s trudging,
guiding her to a seat)

*Ralph comes in

Kaye: But why are you guys placed in such a random part of the campus?
Ralph: Actually, we were campaigning against global warming. However, we thought it’d be
better to try and accommodate to people having a hard time because of the heat. Why?
Because it is a direct effect of the global warming. Pretty nice if I do say so myself.
Kaye: That’s amazing!
Denise: So, I thought we all came here to check up on Karen?

*On the other side of the room:

Karen: Where are my friends?

Eydrian: Uhhhh

*Back to current scene

Kaye: Yeah, sorry! I got sidetracked!

Ralph: To everyone who are concerned for our planet, we all know that Global warming is
such a serious issue. Why not make a change now? I’m sure it will definitely help us in the
long run. Perhaps we can even turn things around. Hopefully it’s not too late right? But who
knows? We can only act to spread awareness and hope for change. Let’s not ruin the planet
that houses each and every one of us.
