Answer for Probiotic Questions

1. Yes it is safe and recommended to consume probiotics everyday. Probiotics is


also good for our gut health.
2. There is no side effect of consuming probiotics.
3. Probiotics, or good bacteria act to maintain a healthy balance in our body. When
we are sick, bad bacteria enters body and increases in number. This knocks our
body out of balance. So, probiotics works to fight off the bad bacteria and restore
the balance within our body, making us feel better. Then, it also regulate our
bowel movement to avoid constipation and diarrhoea, reduce production of toxins
in our body as well as enhance our body’s immunity to fight against infections
and cancer cells.
4. Probiotics need to be kept in a chilled, refrigerator environment (4 degree
Celsius).
5. Taking too many probiotics can cause uncomfortable symptoms like gas,
bloating, and upset stomach.
6. There are 3 types of probiotics beverages which are kombucha, kefir and drinks
that are supplemented with probiotics. Examples of probiotics beverages are
Yakult, Vitagen, Kombucha Tea, Yogurt, Calpis and many more.
7. Probiotics are foods that contain live microorganisms intended to maintain or
improve the "good" bacteria in the body, while prebiotics are foods for probiotics.
