The verb after love, enjoy, hate and like must be ended by-ing

You can also add words like really, sometimes, or absolutely to make your meaning stronger
or weaker.

I really like playing online games.

I sometimes enjoy watching k-pop.

I absolutely hate cooking.


Part 3 Adding more details to your ideas

I like playing sport. I play football every Tuesday evening.
I absolutely hate cooking. I only cook once or twice a month.
I really like taking photos, but I don’t get the chance to do it often.

2. Where do you do your free time activity?


For example:
I like playing sport. I play football every Tuesday evening at the park near my house.
I enjoy having coffee with my friends. We go to a café in the city center once or twice
a week.
I really like taking wildlife photos in the forest, but I don’t get a chance to do it often.

You can see that our sentences are getting more detailed. When you produce sentences, you
should always give details and these will make your English sounds more interesting and
natural.

Well, I do believe that now you are able to produce some sentences by giving some details,
practice them and say them out load.

Part 4 The most popular free time activities in the UK and the USA

The British and American like to do many different things on their free time such as doing
sports, taking photos, watching TV, listening to music, reading books, playing different
games, and DIY. DIY means Do It Yourself or doing different activities and things you can do
without any help from professional. In other hand, they do DIY by using their on hands.
