Significance of the study

The findings of this study will be undertaken to find out the impacts if the digital age on the small
business in Palo, Leyte benefiting the study are the following sectors:

Customers: The findings of this study will assist customers in understanding the effects of the
digital age on small businesses and will assist them in developing their own coping strategies
for dealing with the digital age.

Business owners: the impact of small businesses brought by the digital age can affect those
business owners as the information presented will enable them to know the importance of their
business. It will give business owners the realization that the digital age is very useful to both
society and businesses. At the end of this study, business owners will finally know why the
digital wave is useful for small businesses.

Innovators: The role of an innovator is to promote different digital ages for small businesses to
help ensure that their business will ultimately succeed. The data provided would help innovators
understand the effects of the digital age on small businesses, as well as the customs and
