MC welcome Good evening ladies and gentlemen. First of all, I want to welcome you all to Swinburne Innovation Space for the Gala Slide1
guests Swinburne Greats, where we look back together for significant contributions to the success of the events in 2022. This is
also an opportunity for us to have an overview of and reflect on all activities throughout 2022 and acknowledge our
students' hard work and efforts. My name is Madison Nguyen and today I am honoured to be the MC for this
memorable night.

As you can see, the year 2022 is full of challenges, innovations, and successes finally end. Tonight, we are here to look
back on that one-year journey with joys, smiles and good memories. Sitting here, there are new friends from a year ago
who were still new students and have just entered a new environment, with a lot of surprise by new challenges. After all, I
firmly believe that, after a year, you have all grown up, achieved specific successes, and have a lot of friends, mentors
and companions.

Ladies and gentlemen, at our Gala Swinburne Greats tonight, I would like to introduce the presence of:

Award And ladies and gentlemen, without making you wait any longer, let's come to the award show we've all been waiting for.
Welcome to the Student's contribution awards part.
Once again, 5 individual awards will be given to 5 students for their significant contributions to the success of all events
by StudentHQ in 2022, through recognition, selection and evaluation by the system. I'd like to invite Dr Marisha back to
stage to award our students.
Student And the first award is: slide 7
Representation 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - given to students who have made significant contributions to the activities organized by SVAP,
which positively impact the community and convey cheerful thoughts and voices of the student community.

Practices 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 - considers how the student undertook outstanding work in giving voice to under-represented
Award students or groups, and in driving initiatives to improve the educational experience of all. Student might be nominated for
their voluntary or extracurricular initiatives, or for stepping up to demonstrate or advocate for particular inclusive teaching
and learning practices.

Peer Support And the next award is: slide 9
Award 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 - considers student’s outstanding voluntary contributions to supporting their peers’ learning in small
or large ways, for instance in taking the initiative to set up a study group, or in department-wide or SVN extra-curricular
initiatives.

Student 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - considers students for overall contribution to SVN in SHQ activities, volunteering
Contribution their time to SVN, MC-ing events, etc.

Influential Club And the final award in the Students contribution section is slide 11
Leader 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 - given to the leader of the club that has the most influence on their community and contributes
many ideas, and successfully organizes meaningful activities for the student community.
This award belongs to zxx congratulations to xxx on winning the Influential Club Leader award, please come to the slide 11
stage.

Award Ladies and gentlemen, now, we will move onto the Club contribution award 2022 section of today. These awards are
rated from our system records of our events and voted for publicly by club members. I would like to express our
gratitude to Student Council for supporting us with the voting process. I'd like to invite Dr Marisha back to stage to award
our clubs.
Rising Star Firstly, welcome to the Rising Star Award. slide 16

The Rising Star Award considers a club or society who is officially affiliated with Swinburne Vietnam Alliance Program and
has shown outstanding potential and commitment to SVAP.
And, the club with the highest number of votes for this award is xxx. We would like to invite the representative of xxx to slide 16
come to the stage to receive the award for the Rising Star.
Most The second award in the Club awards category is: Most Supportive Club. The Most Supportive Club award considers slide 17
Supportive the club that volunteered and spent their time on support the work of other clubs the most. For this category, surely each
Club of us has our own answer. Every event, even if it is a club organized or by SHQ itself, the club always shows up and
enthusiastically supports with photos capturing every moment, so that after each event, we can save our own beautiful
memories.

Value Ladies and gentlemen, so we've gone through 2 out of 5 categories for club awards. Then, the third will be: Value slide 18
Contribution Contribution Award. The Value Contribution Award considers the club who has organised events and activities
Award throughout the year that positive influenced and created values for the SVAP community and wider community such as
culture, environment, artistic, etc. values.
And the club that won the highest number of votes for this award category is xxx. Congratulations xxx for the Value slide 18
Contribution Award.
Outstanding And right after that, we will come to the Outstanding Club Activity awards. The Outstanding Club Activity considers slide 19
Club Activity a club's activity that has influenced the wider community the most and received the most number of positive feedback
from the student community.
This is the award that can be said to be the most competitive of all. 2022 is a year where all of our SVN clubs have made
great contributions to the student community.
Club Activity

This club won by 0.7%, by 01 vote out of 140 votes. Winning by 19.3% of the total vote numbers, congratulations tooooo slide 19

Once again, congratulations to xxx and I would like to invite the xxx CMC to come to the stage for the Outstanding Club
Activity award.
Outstanding The final award in the Gala Swinburne Greats tonight will be Outstanding Lovable Club. Each club has certain activities slide 20
Lovable Club and contributions to the student community in general and the SVN student community. Every donation is recognized and
receives positive reviews. The Outstanding Lovable Club award is unanimously considers the club that is voted the
most popular in the community and the most lovable based on public voting; products/community contributions are
recognized through voting.
Besides the Outstanding Club Activity awards, this is also the award with the largest amount of competition. And slide 20
winning overwhelmingly, congratulations to xxx for successfully earning the Outstanding Loveable Club award.
End Once again, congratulations to xxx who excellently won the highest number of votes for 5 Club contribution award slide 21
categories in today's Gala Swinburne Greats night.

Ladies and gentlemen, so 2022 has ended with many successes and victories. Let's together draw a better 2023. Let's
meet again next year in the Gala night of 2023.
