Summary Chap.3 Par.

The lymphatic system consists of lymph vessels and lymph capillaries that transport a clear
liquid called lymph. The lymphatic system has no pump, and lymph doesn’t circulate either

As oxygen nutrients and water move through the walls of blood capillaries they become part
of the tissue fluid. Most of the tissue fluid is absorbed by cells and some of it flows right back
into the bloodstream, but a small amount of tissue fluid stays behind. This small amount is
picked up by the lymphatic system. If the lymphatic system wouldn’t do that, tissues would
destroy and this could be fatal. After the fluid enters the lymphatic system via the lymph
capillaries it is called lymph. This transporters and drink back into your blood at veins close
to before going back into the bloodstream lymph needs to pass lymph nodes which are
bean-shaped organs found throughout your body
