How are things ? I am writing to tell you about my holiday in the Dominican Republic!

We stayed at a house near the beach in a big holiday resort! When we got there the weather was
hot and when I say hot I mean HOT! We could hardly breathe but when we stayed there for a while
we got used to it. Every morning I went swimming with my dad and after the swimming we ran at
least 3 kilometres! After all that we wood go to have breakfast. For the rest of the day we wood stay
at the beach and sunbathe. Before we got on the flight back we stopped at a traditional store where
there were lots of interesting things like wooden handmade spoons, elephants, flowers and a lot
more! One thing caught my eye though. It was a wooden eagle! It was quite expensive, but it was
worth the money! We also bought three porcelain statues with the dominican people’s god- Buda.
They symbolise the vow that people that live high in the mountains gave: won’t talk, won’t see,
won’t listen. They are a great memory that will be always put in a high place in my room because I
respect other people’s religions.
