The girl of the pearl

The Girl Of The Pearl was painted by Johannes Vermeer between

1665 and 1667. This painting is painted in oil. The style of this
painting is realistic.
It shows a really beautiful girl on a black background. This girl
seems happy but she doesn't express much happiness. As the
name suggests, this girl is wearing a pearl earring. The girl's skin
is painted with a light color. The shirt she wears is painted in a
darker color, orange-yellow. The turban that she wears on her
head is blue and yellow.
In this painting, the painter wants to express seduction through
the girl's look. In my opinion, this painting is one of my favorites,
because it gives me sensations of mystery and because it is very
realistic.
