Dear Parents Assalamu Alaykum,
Our first few weeks of Kindy have been sensational.
It has been lovely to meet our newest and smallest
members of the Bellfield Family. KB have settled in
well and have really formed some pleasing
friendships. We have spent lots of time getting to
know one another. I have taken much time to
interact and assess your child. This has helped me
understand their strengths, areas of interest and
areas in which they may need support.
We have been looking at and discussing letters,
shapes, numbers and colours.
I asked my students how and what they have liked
most about starting Kindy at Bellfied College, this is
what they had to say:

Bella- “I like to play outside with my sister at recess.

I also like learning and doing Arabic work with Hajji
Hiam”
Issa-“I love learning”

Batoul- “I like colouring and learning, and playing

with my brother at recess”
Amna: “I love my friends and my teacher so much.
I love my school it is so beautiful”
Jawad: “I like it when Miss Ballot reads us a story
and I love to play outside and colour”
In Illuminations we have learned the first of Allah’s
names which is Ar-Rahman. Our last Prophet is
Prophet Muhammad (sawas). We have also had
conversations about the life of Imam Ali and
Sayedah Fatima Alayhum As Salaam.
A few tips, tricks and reminders:
- Check your child’s black satchel and diary daily.
Please ensure it is sent to school daily.
- Library days are on Monday. Your child cannot
borrow if they do not have their black satchel.
- Homework is distributed on Monday and due in
on Friday.
- Please ensure your child has a healthy packed
lunch that is enough to nourish their mind and
body for a day full of learning and fun. No
chocolates, lollies, nutella or peanut butter.
- They need their hat daily. No hat no play rule
applies.
- Practise writing their full name correctly at home
each night.
- Ask your child how their day was at school
when they come home. Having rich
conversations daily is a great way to help your
child develop their speaking skills.

AND QUR’AN

Assalamu ‘alaykum dear parents,

Alhamdullilah with the Grace of Allah we are
halfway through our first term.
Year Two have started their term with Surat Al -
Qadr and learning the Arabic alphabets with their
different shapes, forms and sounds.

Year Three are memorising Surat Al-Ghashiah and

learning the rules of Madd, Sukoon and Tanween.
I am very happy with the students engaging with
different activities and the timely completion of
their homework.

Salam Bellfield College families,
I would like to congratulate all students who
applied and presented speeches in their campaign
to join the Student Representative Council. We had
some outstanding applications and all students are
commended on their efforts.
