TRAINING REPORT

INTRODUCTION
As part of the BOSIET certification (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency
Training), to allow us to work and stay on the GULFTIDE platform, a training course is
currently taking place at the Academy of the Seas from 31 October 22 to 04 November 22.
Two people were accompanied by PETROCI CI-11, namely Mr Kone Yacou and Mr
COLLINSSON to meet their needs.
This training is currently led by Mr MANDA who is from the merchant navy.

DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE OF TODAY'S TRAINING (01/11/2022)


❖ Description
Today was the second session of the training, during which a theoretical course was given on
the content of the training in general.
❖ Objective
The pedagogical objectives of this theoretical training were to:
- Defining abandonment and survival at sea,
- Give the causes of abandonment,
- Know your role as a call to abandonment,
- Identify abandonment and survival equipment at sea,
- Apply abandonment techniques in practical exercises,
- Know how to useabandonment and survival equipment at sea,
- Organize its survival at sea in case of abandonment.

CONCLUSION
Today's training was a success for us, as it allowed us to better understand life on a ship or on
an oil platform and the marine environment, namely abandonment and survival at sea, the
different techniques and equipment related to it.
