Checklist Stepladder

Stepladders consisting of treads and handrails are generally installed in the height
range between 45° and 70° (recommended 45° to 60°). Stepladders closely
resemble the design of a staircase. # steps
Two factors make stepladders safer than rung type ladders: stability and

A fixed rung type ladder is a non-self-supporting ladder that is non-adjustable in height
length and permanently attached to a structure at a pitch ranging from 70 degrees
to 90 degrees from the horizontal. Fixed ladders having a pitch greater than 90 # steps
degrees are not allowed. The ladder shall be fitted with a fall protection device
when height of the ladder flight is more than 3000 mm or height of the ladder is gradient

3000mm" to check the fall protection.
Two main alternatives for protection of the users of fixed ladders against falls # steps
from a height are safety cages or fall arresters:
